Why is this a problem? Samus is a strong, silent woman with no personality because she's a genetically modified space bounty hunter. The draw of the serious isn't her, it's the game play and atmosphere of isolation.

Brie got her acting tips from a fukkin piece of wood and that is unironically perfect for Samus. Just never take her helmet off like judge dredd. Except maybe in the very last scene.
