Coincidentally it's tail also looks like a squirrel tail, meaning it's a Squirrel+Squirt+Turtle.
It doesn't have to be JUST one or the other.

It really doesn't. It's much too small and real squirrel tails don't swirl like that. Wartortle I can see some squirrel in, though the tail is even more like a stylized wave.

You can also evolve your Mantyke with a Remoraid in your party.
