nah at least speedways are self-contained and dont show up mid level and ruin it, obviously subjective here but i like them.
the worst minigames are in 3 because they arent even incorporated into the level design and make you stop platforming to go play a shitty fps segment or some broke ass boxing you have to cheese. im also pretty sure theres more shitty minigames in 3 than there are speedways in 1.

If you were writing a "wacko manifesto" you decided to fill with shitposting to confuse the authorities and media, you might conceivably throw in random shit to claim as influences for troll purposes. i just beat spyro 1 and been playing a bit of spyro 2.
why is spyro 2 so different? so many npcs and gimmicks when i just want to explore a world and find shit, and then move to the next.
