I had to make a conscious effort not to use it in Ultra Sun. A Magnemite somehow managed to sneak onto my fucking team almost long enough to evolve but I realized just in time and took the shiny Dewpider I had been saving instead.
The Magnezone I had in Moon absolutely fucking snapped the game over its magnets though, holy mother of fuck is it broken in singleplayer. If I ever had trouble with anything, it would grind it into a fine paste after debilitating it.

Chimecho kind of sucks, but it got some stat buffs recently and has a lot of neat moves it can learn, like Perish Song + Wrap, Heal Bell, Recover, Wish, Defog, Taunt, Toxic/ThunderWave, Yawn, and Magic Coat. It also has Levitate and not too many weaknesses.

Lets be honest, most water ground types are inferior to Steroid'd Swampert anyway. Quagsires Niche is he can stop sweepers. Gastro can stop Water Sweepers and phsyical attackers. I don't really think outside of Poision Touch Sesimtoad I can find too much of an use for him.
However, Z-Bounce is amazing for making grass types instantly KO on a bad switch in. Its so satifiying watching someone get salty thinking they can switch something in to Sisimtoad only to get OHKO'd.

Phantom Force and Shadow Punch are both too shit to really use. Phantom Force takes two turns, if Golurk had good speed this could be decent but its garbage speed means it won't outspeed anything. Iron Fist helps a little with Shadow Punch but it's still absolute garabge damage for a STAB move, plus No Guard is overall better as it allows you to abuse things like Dynamic Punch and some other pretty strong moves with low accuracy.
Golurk is sadly just shit from a gameplay perspective. Meant to be tanky and deal large damage but its type and stats make it unable to tank hits like its suppose to.
