Is this game plus dlc worth 20 dollary doos?

I think yes, especially if you liked System Shock 2

Is the whole package on sale for 20? If so, hell yes.

Definitely.

I never played it but I liked Bioshock 1 and 2.

Yeah I think so. I like how many different ways you can tackle an objective. The downsides would be lack of enemy and weapon variety compared to SS2 but beggars can't be choosers.

I think you'll enjoy it, if you like the 2 (good) bioshock games.

It's worth 60 dollars, so yes.

Absolutely.
Don't get too excited about the DLC though. One you understand how the mechanics for the DLC works, you'll get bored pretty easily by the time you hit your third character.

It was worth 60 base
It was worth 40 base
It is definitely worth 20 + dlc

If you like immersive story, base is your alley.
If you like roguelike challenges with rng obstacles, dlc is the way to go.
Soundtrack is excellent too.

>Yea Forums like prey now
what the hell went wrong

My favorite game this generation. It's so fucking good.

This game is godlike and is worth easily $60, probably the only good game bethesda produced

Yes it's a good deal. The DLC wasn't very good though

Yea Forums has like prey for over a year now. It was just salty prey 2 fags that were bitching

Oh shut up you fucking contrarian. The game is actually really good. The best immersive sim of the gen.

Try not to use the bonus shotgun you get from Morgan's office, getting a shotgun and plans for shotgun shells that early breaks the game.

Which one? Male or Female VA first run

Attached: 1551038044605.jpg (700x722, 62K)

It is objectively a good game minus the naming controversy and awful multiplayer mode

hey dev, sorry your shitty game sold like absolute garbage

The tone of it slowly changed over time. People got up in arms over it due to the weird reviews from the bethesda embargo initially. There were always a few at the beginning that said it would be a sleeper hit (correct). Most people didn't want to put in 60 dollars for it on day one.
That, and console bugs, poor graphics optimization issues on some cards (some updates causes the power plant level to chug massive cock framerate wise. Had to rollback an update on my nvidia driver once because of it). Same shit happened with Dishonored 2, I believe.
It's getting better since all the discounts and updates. Their prop hunt game is still shitty, though.

Male is the better voice actor. Female phones it the fuck in.
The brother/brother dynamic adds extra feels too

Where is it 20 incl DLC ?

Sony europoor sales want 15 for it and another 20 for the DLC

>poor graphics

The fuck ?
I'd call it average at worst

>The best immersive sim of the gen.
Not saying much really.

I Meant poor graphics optimization performance wise.

>that feel when sliding and shotgunning

Steam

Op here thanks guys. Was reticent to give it a shot because how bad Dishonored 2 was but everyone seems to agree Prey is a lot better.

Yep. It's a great game. At least in my top 3 of that year and actually makes space fun to play in.

Alright then

I agree with the rest of your post otherwise

It's not that similar to Bioshock. It's more like what people said Bioshock was, not that Bioshock is bad.

is dishonored 2 that bad? i was about to play it because of the cute grill MC but is it not worth it for that?

One last thing, it's a pretty long game and gets kinda dreadful at the second half so don't go for every last optional thing. HF

It's not bad, just the same as the first with less memorable NPCs and places so it gets tedious half way through

I see a pattern here in linear Bethesda games

The only really bad thing about the second half is the fucking respawning and basically unkillable robots. Why the hell did they think that was a good idea.

Use the taser, not the guns

Attached: 3453456342626.gif (581x800, 803K)

Arkane makes good games. Kill yourself.

I did. That wasn't the problem, the problem was that due to the wonky physics, it was impossible to get the respawn points to stop respawning by blocking it unless you killed a certain number of robots, which took forever.

The level design and mechanics are phenomenal, outright superior to the first game when it comes to that imo, but people seem to get really strung up by the story.

I'd say give it a chance.

No, it's a very disappointing game. You may enjoy it in the moment but its immediately forgettable. Not even worth the $20

Arkane has literally never made a good game

Not one

Ah, good point. Usually at that point I just speed past everything else and deal with the main operator controlling all of them to make it stop, then continue at a regular pace. I wish you luck in future endeavors

That being said, the sheer amount of backtracking in this game can be a bit of a downside. Sure, it's beautiful, but unless you have max running speed, it can be tedious

And some of the worldbuilding which obviously was writen by some nerdy vegan lesbian. Oh and there's only 1 good weapon. Apart from that the game is really good.

>someone actually thought "it's all a dream" would be a good ending
Trash

Shit was worth 60 when I originally bought it so yes its worth that price hombre

Im sry about your shit taste user

Yes, its a great experience and Mooncrash is a great dlc. It's very similar to Bioshock and System Shock

I just want to know why every food item in game is vegan or vegetarian

most of the prey 2 apes either stopped pretending to be mad or realised the game wouldn't have come out anyway

It's the closest thing you'll ever get to System Shock 3.
I really liked it, even if the writing has some flaws(fuck you for making me sit through all those gay ass lesbian audio logs).

There's no point critiquing this game anymore. Preybots are too far gone. They won't even acknowledge basic flaws in the game like the hacking.

isnt it set on a space station?

Welcome to grorious russian-chinese space unification

Yeah, on repeat playthroughs I tried to get as much done before that point. Thanks, though!

That's precisely the reason why I don't recommend typhon-only runs. It just gets aggravating.

you can't just import meat from the fucking earth all willy nilly
that shit is expensive

Mooncrash is arguably a better experience than the base game, although a lot is gained from the context of the story.

>In a post-credits scene, Morgan wakes up in a lab and learns that it is not the real Morgan, but instead a captured Typhon implanted with Morgan's memories in an effort to teach it human emotions and empathy.

There, saved you $20. The game is shit btw

>Jellied Eels are vegetarian

Attached: 1544353643535.jpg (120x120, 6K)

>people unironically like the female vocalist for semi sacred geometry
how??

Attached: sn-scream.jpg (1280x720, 81K)

They do have meat. Did you miss the eel tanks? It's just that beef/pork/chicken aren't practical in space.

>implying people think it's perfect

Are you fucking high ?

The game is set on a space station, but you're wrong about every food item being vegetarian. There are jellied eels made from eels grown on the station, as well as fish sticks, caviar, and unagi rolls.

Mediocre as fuck experience. Had more fun playing Deus Ex Mankind Divided that year and even that game isn't terrific

Aw, u mad kid ? :^)

How's The Quiet Man treating you, seething faggot?

>t. never played it and only read the "twist" from Yea Forums
Got a tip for you. You find out you're not the real morgan way before the end. Its hinted when you take typhon neuromods and walk into coral.

Both games are great, what the fuck you on about?

You've never even played it. You're probable one of the hand full of autists that liked the original prey and are mad that Prey 2017 is miles better.

This game's setting was great because it actually felt like a place where people lived and worked. I never got that from Bioshock, which felt more like an amusement park than a city.

Attached: Prey_LobbyVista_Feb10-ed.jpg (1600x900, 277K)

Personally I despised wacking everything with a wrench every time I entered a room. The larger enemies also felt really OP early in the game which made me rage quit.
Call me bad, whatever, I didn't enjoy the hours I did play.

I don't like minigames for hacking/lockpicking/ect at all, but what's actually wrong with prey's minigame? It actually takes some coordination
Versus something like 3d fallout's lockpicking and Bioshock's hacking which usually get criticized for being a "hey you've got at least 1 braincell" check

>The game is set on a space station
>so a lot of the food is going to be plant based
Can't believe I forgot to expand on this

This game is surprisingly fantastic.

Why is it always medium games like this that get these people with a super specific axe to grind

>Personally I despised wacking everything with a wrench every time I entered a room.
Why? You can see which items are mimics and which ones aren't, and even if you can't you get the psychoscope which lets you see mimics if you have the mimic chip installed which is the first chip for the psychoscope you get.

>Personally I despised wacking everything with a wrench every time I entered a room
Why would you wack everything? It's been a while since I played it, but weren't mimcs always disguised right next to the object they were copying? You just had to look out for shit that wouldn't typically be found in pairs.

If I buy this game, will I play it?

What kind of question is that?

Yes
Its even better if you pirate it

You don't know?

I just want to know if my purchase will go to waste.

Prey/PREY fanbase has this sect of company warring super autist that like to rear their ugly heads in these threads. It's gotten to the point where they don't use keywords and pretend they're just some passerby shitting on the game but it's still blatantly obvious.

I don't understand where the divide comes from, both Human Head and Arkane got fucked by Zenimax, yet the shitflingers act as if the two studios are competitors.

Go watch some footage on youtube. Its a fun game. If you liked dishonored, you'll like prey.

>You've never even played it
Fuck off idiot
