Why do people play and enjoy this game? I don't get it

Siege is great if you still have some heart for esports shit. I don't. I saw that I'd end up researching tierlists and strategies, grinding for operators and generally be angry at the game. I don't want that which is why I choose Squad/Quake Champions combo.

they've cultivated a lovely, spiteful reddit community that is absolutely obsessed with TOXICITY, getting paying customers banned, and filling the game with grotesque token diversity to insure they kill their game dead.

when they censored their own ability names i thought i was in some kind of lucid dream. their vision of a language controlled world where absolutely everything is disgustingly offensive and must be rooted out, with complete disregard for context, is incredibly scary.

Its a short burst fun game. Its also great when you reach ascension and 1v5 clutch or when you get 4 randoms and everyone just clicks and the team work is perfect.

Atmosphere in my games was tense as fuck. Either noone talked or someone raged. But I'm coming from Squad where people are relaxed.

You playing Casual or Comp? Because Casual in my experience is too relaxed

i only play casual and every match you have the ocasional raging and tryhard retard

I've played a couple of nights a week since the Korea patch and I've enjoyed it the whole time. As much as Yea Forums bitches about it being ruined nothing they've added has felt as annoying to me as Ela was when I started. And I guess a fat Australian bitch doesn't trigger me enough to get pissy about the game.

Because it makes people think they're 2000 iq demigods when cheesing somebody with an ability or getting a wallbang or clutching, but that's also why its full of no fun allowed kiddies and clanbabs.
It's occasionally enjoyable when you get a rare balanced game, but definitely not when you keep getting put against 5 stacks in casual when you're solo queuing.
Also the art design went down the shitter and its full of excess ubifaggotry.
