It isn't actually an exclusive in the traditional sense. They were gonna port it to PS3 but they barely got the game patched together on 360 to begin with and decided to move that team to SR2.

I'm actually excited for Saints row The third despite it being nowhere near as charming. I think the studio said they can't really port Saints row 2 to current gen consoles

I played SR3 on the PS3 first and then got SR2 on it, later 4. Never played the first. Didn’t stop me from playing the others. 2 is the best anyway

Yeah, they said they lost the source code for SR1 and SR2 so porting it is "impossible". To put it bluntly, I don't believe them whatsoever since they still have a bunch of old builds laying about that they streamed.

I meant to say excited for Saints row The third to come to to the switch. There aren't alot of GTA esque sandboxes for the switch outside of maybe the Lego games.
