Good taste, but I'd rather choose the first game. Both Valadiline(or whatever the starting town was called) and the German university town seemed pretty cool, but 2 had only a depressive Russian shithole(and that's depressive even by Russian standards) and literal snow wastelands

I could name a dozen but that seems to be against the vibe of the thread but honestly any world that is mostly peaceful and only slightly fantastical would be nice.

how do i fucking play morrowind? im a dumb zoomer and keep dying to literally everything.

Watch your stamina bar, you won't succeed at shit when it's empty(just like you wouldn't succeed at shit IRL while being completely tired)
But other than that, your character is obviously going to be weak early in the game, but it does genuinely gets much easier later on. From mid game onwards you should be able to hit things consistently.

I can think of a few, but at the end of the day I just want explore Twilight Town's streets.

just make it a habit to "check" if you're dreaming periodically throughout the day.
for example check the time, and then check it again in a few seconds. if it's a wildly different time, then you're dreaming.
test physics out, like press against a wall, if there's any give at all you're probably dreaming. little things like that

also start recording you dreams and getting your brain into the habit of being conscious of your dreams
