Yes. Remap the controls into something you're comfortable with doing and only go in with a few weapons and slowly add more as you get more comfortable with switching styles and weapons. You can get away with sticking with one style and weapon even but it won't feel as cool and it'll be trickier to build/hold SSS ranks.

While you're still learning Dante, absolutely. At first you want to focus on mastering a single weapon and making sure that you use its entire moveset in combat.

Always do this. DMC standard controls are most of the time garbage and require changing at least one key to work properly (eg binding gun to LB for Nero, Griffon to LB for V, etc)
for Dante though for regular gameplay there's no real need for rebinding anything except if you rely on something that requires unusual inputs

Just bring fewer weapons. You shoudln't really have to rebind controls for Dante unlike Nero and V who need their shoot button rebinded to something free like LB/L1. There's no shame in styling with 2 devil arms and 2 guns, that was standard gameplay in DMC3.

After he started roaming the world, he first met Griffon who suggest to him they should team-up to beat Urizien, he also tells him he should find more familiars, that's when Shadow comes in.
We also see Phantom and Nightmare there, but i guess they'll explain more of it in the next chapters.

Just try to not get hit to start with. So learn what enemies do, and when. Then either time dodges to avoid it, or time royal guard to block it.
Learn a couple of combos with different weapons, then swap between them. As Nero you can do whatever the fuck you want, just don't get hit.
Between never getting hit, and having varied combos, you are essentially good. Everything else after is adding flair, and will come with the confidence of knowing you aren't getting hit.

DMC5 stops being fun at mission 19. This is fucking bullshit. Royal Guard went from borderline optional to absolutely mandatory, and the punishment for something you're forced to do is far too harsh with too little in return. Up until now the worst I could say about it is that the newcomer I don't like much and is only in 3 missions is unwieldy, but now it's just not fun.

Vergil 3 in DMC3 is fun and fair. You're punished harshly for failure but you're rewarded accordingly for success. This punishes everything you do after phase 1 and gives you no reward whatsoever. There's no difficulty curve here - DMC3 expected you to do a boss rush, then a punishing boss with retarded tentacle faggotry, then fight Vergil. This game has a handful of easy missions and then a fucking brick wall. I hate this. I hate you for enjoying this. Fuck everything.

I think it would've been better if we had to S rank Demon Hunter only and just beat the game on the other difficulties.

They could've added a checklist in-game for extra challenges.

On any difficulty below DMD, bullshit. Total bullshit. Jump cancelling the aerial beowulf move is so brain-dead easy and so proficient as a punishment that the hardest part about him is remembering that he'll go into stinger after helm splitter. This game has him summon a fucking doppelganger as well as sin devil trigger to ensure that you're always on the run with insufficient means to punish his attacks.

It's slow paced, has no dynamic moments at all. It feels too manufactured. It's like a robot trying to recreate the magic of the fights in 3. Every other rival fight in the series from the Nelo Angelo fights in 1 to Credo in 4 all felt dynamic, like you were up against a real rival. Vergil just feels like a boss cycling through its phases. Worse, he's too defensive. You spend most of the fight chasing him around instead of him coming to you. He's the only boss in the game like that aside from Artemis, but that's her shtick. It's all wrong, and the horrible music doesn't help.

It's not mandatory. It just helps a lot because RR is so powerful. Not sure why you'd need to practice against Vergil in the Void for anyway since he's the whole mission. In case you're restarting the whole mission every time you die, that's not necessary. Restarting from checkpoint restarts the whole mission, you won't get penalized for continuing.

did you guys know you can skip most of the 4 blood pools shit? you wont even need the parasytes to open the paths to the 4 blood abdomens, here is how you do it
>when you arrive to the shrine with the 4 pools go to the upper door where you need the parasyte
>put trickster and jump twice and try to land in the upper frame of the door, if you cant manage use the dash so Dante is as close as he can to the wall
>you have a little of a second or 2 to jump, if you did right the last step you have your jumps restored now, jump twice and use trickster dash to reach the third floor balcony, enter and destroy the abdomen and return to the valcony
>now here is where shit gets tricky and fun.
>you notice the 4th balcony all the way up and far away and no vines no place to jump, but you can actually reach it
>put swordmaster and Bike R, put dante aiming to the balcony and do back SM, doing a uppercut with the bike putting dante way high but not enough
>now jump, you still have air hike and quickly change to trickster and dash
>now attack once normally this is to give you time to breath for the last step
>while dante is doing the attack change to SM and do back -forward SM and Dante will reach the last Balcony
