The last book you read is getting a vidya adaptation
How good is it?
The last book you read is getting a vidya adaptation
>The Name of the Rose
>point and click adventure set in a big medieval monastery
Sounds nice
>underage thread
No one finished with high school reads books especially not on the VIDEO GAME board
>Furies of Calderon
>A Sword&Sorcery open world RPG
Do want. Especially since i'm practically starving for some good S&S RPG's.
What a loser.
but that's just Pokemon
Ender's Game
Could be interesting...
Uh
>Swedish-Made Penis Enlarger Pumps and Me
I think you can have both. An open wrold rpg where you go around and do some fantasy related bullshit, while collecting these magic spirits in pokemon style, since they're the only way you can cast spells.
>Lolita
I wonder how it would work gameplay-wise?
>Blood Meridian
RDR2 but with gore and rape mods
>Team of Rivals
So Victoria II?
>A Closed and Common Orbit
I wouldn't mind a video game set in the Wayfarers universe.
Wait... was that book actually made?
I-... I don't read books
Well this thread is a good place to get recommendations
>some Lovecraft short story
As with all Cthulu mythos games it's gonna be disappointing.
The last book I read was an biology text book. I don't mind playing a game about ecology, but I would think it would get boring just counting things after a while. Unless manga counts as a book
>Red Storm Rising
It goes all around though, and I think it's already been done by other games
>Submarine warfare?
Cold Waters
>Air & Ground combat?
World in Conflict & Wargame
>Tank combat?
War Thunder with hundreds of hours and money invested, along with sweat and tears of rage
What genres do you like, user?
A high quality conan the barbarian video game would be sweet. It's perfect for the medium. Quests could be based on various stories and combat should be vicious with grappling similar to dragon's dogma. A shame modern tastes would discourage having beautiful women running around naked and savage depictions of blacks.
>Wheel of time book 6
A good rpg with heavy dialogo and choices
>I, Claudius
A VN/retard simulator hybrid, where you must do your level best to be an amusing moron to fool Tiberius and Caligula, and survive the treacheries of Roman court, all the while managing your thin finances.
Actually, that could be quite a fun game, in the vein of Papers, Please, at least in the financial management department.
>Here is your controller, bro.
I'd play it.
a song of ice and fire..
could easily work if done right
There were already a few, but were any good ones ever made?
>Maldoror
I'm not even sure, Is probably a game you would play mostly for the top notch asthetics
> Moby Dick
Fuck just mod AC blackflag a bit and focusing on whale hunting and I'd try it.
I can't remember which character exactly I read last
>Darren Shan's demonata
Really fucking bad, vidya/movies would ruin it.
>Fearless Critic Houston Restaurant Guide
A somewhat darkly comedic linear graphic adventure purportedly focused on food but actually interacting with all sorts of strange people in a large city.
maaaan, i'll finally be able to play the story of Robert Badinter and his fight to make the death penalty illegal in France !
>Commentāriī dē Bellō Gallicō
Total War exists already I guess, but a third person action game as a legionary is what I really crave
Ryse: Son of Rome
It's not that good imo
neuromancer
so basically system shock + blade runner
>of mice and men
OBJECTIVE: Tell Lenny about the rabbits
>The Deverry Cycle
Well, it could be a good open world Kingdom Come kind of deal with some hints of fantasy, or some story-focused retelling. Pretty good books in my pleb opinion.
How do you make a vidya adaption of someone's biography especially when there's no action?
>The Anarch by Dan Abnett
Would actually make for a pretty good game if it was done right.
>Play as alternating characters like the old Call of Duty campaigns
>Missions range from horror to balls to the wall action to desperate lone wolf stealth sections
>Dune
there's a game it's so-so
I'd rather play femdom loli rape game or something.
>How to Read a Book
A comprehensive tutorial on how to play video games
