Literally nothing wrong with the Focus Rifle. It properly introduced the Sentinel Beam into the weapon sandbox, the Beam Rifle was quite literally and 'objectively worse' than the Sniper Rifle, and it's the reason you never saw it in multiplayer outside of Snowbound of all maps.

This shit was so fun to use.
It took me years to figure out it was actually automatic. Im not complainig but, why?

So you could take out packs of Brutes easier with the needle explosions.

The Halo 1 pistol was also fully automatic for dealing with the Flood.
