Dead or Alive 6 Core Fighters was just released. It's a Free 2 Play version where you have free access to 4 characters and can buy any extra ones you desire.
-The 4 available characters are Kasumi, Hitomi, Diego and Bass. -Extra characters cost 4 dollars each, so even if your main or a character you are interested is not free you can play the full game for as little as that. -Story mode is not available in the free to play version but can be bought separately should you wish -All content for a character you possess, free or otherwise is available to you same as in the full game. This is not counting DLC content of course - You can test out all characters in the tutorial mode
Right now the only online play option available is Ranked but lobbies will be added at the end of the month.
DOA6 is a pretty good game. It's extremely fun, polished, accessible with high skill ceiling not to mention gorgeous, i think it's by far the prettiest fighting game ever released. If you like fighting games or pretty eye candy i recommend you give it a try, you will probably like end up it.

I don't know who you are referring to but the only throws you can tech out of are neutral throws and chain throws (after the initial throw, must be timed). If a move leaves you at minus the opponent can punish you with an appropriately faster non neutral throw.
For anybody wondering what this game plays like, here's a quick rundown:

You can set up the character you want to play with in the ranked matches menu then back out, go to free training select what ever character you want to lab or just have fun with and then turn matchmaking on in the training options menu, the game will search for matches while you train, you can choose to aceept them or not and it displays their connection. There is no reason to sit in the ranked matches menu just looking at the UI.
Downloading this right now for the express purpose of purchasing my waifu and no one else. Not even playing the game outside of a few matches with her just to see what has changed. The game may look like ass, be completely awful and >100 dollar season pass but I'll be god damned if I don't support her in some way.

If you want to rematch someone don't stare at the victory screen all day long while the timer runs out. If you are not in the rematch screen before the time reaches 0 you automatically decline the rematch.
It's a 2 out of 3, so you can only get up to 2 rematches if the result allows for it and both players agree to rematch

Depends on the character and move. Phase 4 for example is character built entirely around just frames, Brad is literal Masters in Shenanigans tier while characters like Hitomi and Diego are very straightforward.
At the entry level i'd say the game is a lot accessible than most fighters. Some moves have advanced commands but nothing unreasonable and they have generous timing, most strings however have simple execution.
DOA is fun but I feel like you have to invest more time with it than other fighters. The whole counter system works when you know what the hell you're countering. I have no idea what's a high, a mid, a low, etc. I played some random that was spamming a mid string and until I knew he was doing mids, I couldn't do shit to it.

you can try google for one, and two cheat engine is like the modern day version of that shit we used to play with in zsnes to cheat values and you can download files of pre-made cheat values so you don't have to go looking for them yourself
you download CE from the their website (only from there!), install it then you google DOA6 cheat engine table and find it after clicking a few links then you double click on the CE table, start the game assign CE to the doa6.exe from that button up there then you activate the unlock all costumes now buy me tekken 7

The ninjas are above everyone else in power levels, so much so that they don't enter the tournaments unless it's to achieve something else not associated with it. Tina and Lisa are strong but nothing sets them apart from the rest of the cast besides being among the hottest.

As it says in the OP you can unlock anything for a character you can play as long as it's not DLC of course, the same as the full game. You unlock them though the singleplayer and online modes, quest, combo challenges, matches etc.

It's retarded easy to throw people for holds in this game, the recovery is way too high while strikes can easily be cancelled out of.
I remember switching to a striker character for a while and easily winning matches just getting a basic critical stun from a low and then doing a throw or another launcher. It's a win win.
Not to mention strikers always get some crazy fast move for easy hi-counters. And there's crushing too...I remember beating Shimbori during the beta just spamming this tactic even though I'm a scrub.
