Capcom's new models are pure soul. Their previously hand made models were precisely lacking soul. They didn't have the fine needless details and bits of asymmetry. When they wanted to make a beautiful character it would feel uncanny because it was just 100% beauty, similarly cool characters couldn't be caught in bad frames because they were supposed to be cool and not bad looking in the slightest.
