What's a good game for killing disgusting amounts of free time? I played WoW until a couple months ago but it just crossed the threshold of unplayably bad to me.

There's this new looter-shooter that's all the rage.
Yeah but it's EA
The Monster Hunter series, take your pick.
I recommend World because it is the most popular and newbie friendly, making it a good point to jump in.
Study a new language, delve into philosophy, learn history and geography, find and master a new craft. What will you be left with if you kill your disgusting amounts of free time with an MMO?
What will be left of you worth to remember?
I was looking at MH:World, actually. I tend to like action games with ridiculously oversized weapons. Does it have a pretty active playerbase?
All that really matters is that you're able to find a group of 3 other people to join in hunts.
The hub is split up between two different areas, one being the single player only area and the multiplayer tavern, but from my experience at launch, no-one ever went to the tavern, unless you join a guild and get close with them.
Cringe

Not sure about PC but if you grab it on ps4 it's very active. It'll be incredibly more active on all platforms when the expansion hits in a few months.
Honestly? Warframe. I pick up and play it every few months but if you want a time sink and try and get everything, you'll be busy for at least a year.
Civ V
Strategy games make time fly by fuck fast to the point that I sometimes don't play them just cause I actually wanna do shit during the day. Stellaris is the worst offender, Civ 5 is 2nd and Rome 2 DeI is tied for 3rd with AoE 2.
If you're really autistic I recommend EU4 with Meiou and taxes
Mount and Blade, my dude
mount and blade and vermintide are what ive been sinking time into recently, i like games with swords and such
This.
Just play Warframe,it's better and it's free
Vermintide
FGO and GBF
Path of exile
Stardew Valley
