DMC1 had an annoying as fuck main battle theme. At least in DMC5 it changes with the style meter so it doesn't get repetitive five minutes into the game. Also you change characters a lot, so you get more variety. With DMC1 its literally that shit tier guitar scratching garbage the entire fucking game. And don't even get me started on that god awful fucking mansion theme.

The worst part about the DMCV soundtrack is that half the missions don't even play the battle themes, you just get generic combat music instead.

Neither Vergil or Cerberus got remixes either, for some reason. I find most of the music in the game forgettable.

I liked 4's more than 5 and 3. They're all really fucking good though, why argue? I don't mind chugchug metalcore so Dante's theme in 5 is fine too.
