The only problem I hate with TTW was eventually after 10 hours, the game would start chugging. It was from using a weather mod.
OpenMW will eventually run fallout 4, so you can just put fallout 4s gameplay in NV.

The setting really carries all of these games. Even New Vegas, which I thoroughly enjoyed, has a ton of issues.
