It's very obvious a pokemon is far more powerful than a human. A rattata could probably bite out your neck.

that's why Trainers need Pokémon. Would you stomp a snake in real world? Also, how could the trainer stomp a Arceus, Groundoun, Kyogre, Darkrai...? They would kill the trainer.

Lore reasons, I think. I recall some story about how a guy used a sword to cut down any Pokemon in his path, so they all vanished. When he found one, it told him that they no longer wanted anything to do with humans. So he broke the sword and swore off of using weapons forever and the Pokemon kept to the wilds.

Why that stops today's people from using weapons, I dunno.

But yeah, watching the Pokemon Anime you notice there are lots of weak Pokemon that the trainer could just stomp and kill, so, for very very weak Pokémon your OP argument is valid. But for Pokémon with some real power you are totally wrong, OP.

Why use a gun/physical attack when you can use your Pokemon to gracefully slaughter/tear your enemies before your very eyes.

I would NEVER bow down to a ladybug, there's no way that weak thing could overpower me.
