I played Dorf Fort all day. I started playing it for the first time yesterday. It's weird, it's addicting, but I'm not sure if I'd call it fun quite yet. I want to play it whenever I'm not playing it, but I'm not sure playing it actually nets me any enjoyment like any other game.

There are things I like about Warframe, but it definitely feels like it lacks a goal once you're done with the Star Chart, and they really haven't seen to have done anything about it.

Okay so... your Yea Forums post was in a formula I recognize from my past where we think a new game is not actually a video game because we don't enjoy it like we enjoyed video games in the past. Classical artworks are part of a story that bleeds into "history" in from "history" almost into our own lives if we are extremely lucky (well... it would be lucky now but inexorable in "worse" times). So that gets neural things going that video games don't get going for a lot of people.

Anyway I'm trying to be an asset to people who are in situations like ones in my past. In any way possible if I'm also retarded in my functionality.

Perhaps I could tell you about the effects I've observed so that you could make more informed decisions.

MvM was a mistake but it didn't hurt anything. MyM was a mistake and it hurt a lot. Not so much mechanically as it did to the community morale. The team just keeps adding things that nobody is asking for.
I can't say I've liked the direction a lot of balance changes and new weapons went, but I think the increased pool of weapons is an overall improvement.
Cosmetics are double edged. Conga, high five, RPS are all neat. Some of the hats, effects, and taunts are getting weird. I do not like the strange unusual australium decorated arms race that is going on. I wish halloween spells would come back.
Overall, TF2 is still TF2. Might be getting a little worse, maybe.

It's an impressive legacy. I think it'll keep going so long as no other game has the charm a simple voice prompt menu and the name/description tags add. Just a touch of soul.

wow tf2 for me was getting iffy when they added more weapons and when hats and cosmetics violated the design philosophies as explained in the directors commentaries it was dead and I denied for a while but then couldn't go on.

I still remember guys from the 24/7 Dustbowl ranked server that I was #1 on for a few months. Thai Guy was really multiclassed like me which meant demoman a lot of the time and Zodiac was the best spy I ever met.

Yeah that weekend... with the audio pings upon damage turned on it was like hitting the biggest jackpot in Vegas or Macau or wherever on Planet Earth.

I wish we could purge some of the cosmetics (and weapons) that ruin the retro (maybe some retrofuture) style. People have too much real money sunk into them though.
For me TF2 is still alive as long as I can have good times with some good people. It's all about the weird moments for me. Idiot kids with sets of DANK UNUSUALS worth more than a car are an annoyance, but I don't think they ruin what's still good.
That makes the worst part not what happened to the game, but to the community. All the people who aren't coming back, like you, and probably all those guys from Dustbowl. Less good people means less good times.

Rayman 3. Started playing it on a gamecube emulator then asked myself, "This has a PC version, why am I playing this one?" so I grabbed a GOG download and used BetterRayman3 to get it up to 1080 with perfect xbone controller support, and I'm fighting the last boss right now.
