I don't know about anyone else but a huge contender for this game being dead to me was its constant balance updates.
I could never play this game casually and come back to find a character I liked played like how I remembered them playing. I also hated the culture it brought. Someone's always crying about someone being OP and someone needing to be buffed. No one could just leave this stupid ass game alone long enough for a meta to develop
I swear if I didn't know Blizzard was actually this incompetent at keeping a multiplayer game alive I'd say they intentionally did this just to stir up buzz about the game's goingons.
