ITT: It wasn't that bad
ITT: It wasn't that bad
fuck off it was that bad
Mortal Kombat Armaggedon.
It wasnt that good, either.
For the time they had to make this game yes it was, on par with the disappointment level of postal 3 with a little effort either of those games could of been good and like their predecessors
Who said this was a bad game?
Max Payne 3
It's actually really good
It was pretty bad, and this coming from someone who beat the game and the DLC.
Would have been fine if it had released 10 years earlier. It would have been considered a decent generic without the delay controversy.
Fuck no, it plays like utter shit
>man blowing another man dressed as a giraffe
Battleborn really got the short end of the dev stick.
Yea Forums itself could have been a better dev when being compared to the dumpster fire that is gearbox
>Is it a downgrade?
Yes.
>Is it unplayable garbage like most of the fandom seems to think?
No.
RIP Duke. SJW's killed you
You think it was actually in development for 12 years?
Nigger what
Broussard killed Duke harder than any single other person on Earth.
>New engine came out? Time to DELETE EVERYTHING and start from scratch
>Half Life has physics puzzles? Guess we need them too
>Battlefield/Halo/Unreal Tournament had vehicles? Better find a way to shoehorn those in too
>Release date? Eh, we'll finish it someday
The Gearbox version was indev for about 18 months, but that was after 12-14 years of Broussard mismanaging everything at 3D Realms.
If you go back and watch the early trailers you'll see that almost all of the scenarios in the final game were present at the beginning of development.
the gameplay was akin to games that were released in the early 2000's, which was when this game was suppose to be released) and people failed to realize that.
thats why this game had those physics puzzles.
The RAPISTS in the media created a toxic environment that poisoned any good will for the game.
The games levels transition like shit. You're in an office, then a sewer and you end up in fucking Egypt or whatever desert area. The graphics shifted between levels, with one level pulling off more visual fidelity than the ones that sandwich it. Gimmicky moments like controlling a RC car or driving a monster truck don't break up the game as much as you'd think they do, and those moments are few and far between. The games shooting is meh, the jab at Halo was done to steal relevance, and the only bare tits were on walls and alien. The game was a Frankenstein monster that was always adding new parts to stay relevant until it had 7 legs and 14 arms, ultimately becoming a freakshow of the industry for its entire development time. You can say it's good to you, but objectively, that game wasn't worth the 15 years on the oven.
The only hope we have for a new Duke game is if Gearbox sold the license, but they'll keep it and never do anything with it because Pitchford is a testosterone-less cuckboy that beats off to prepubesant children instead of full-bodied women Duke would approve of. Duke would have to be a walking joke, trying to regain the last shred of his 15 minutes by saving the world yet again, and I'd bet he falls in love and starts respecting women of color or someshit. It's like cannibals buying a cow.
What the fuck are they gonna do with it?!
>4 dvds
the absolute madmans
we still have duke mods
No
Fuck you that game is dogshit. It takes a fanmods to make it even playable.
