yeah

He did it because he never acted upon his interests because he was a doubter, which corrupted his mind. There are probably a few Adachis reading my post.

Maybe

Beaches and Shores

he did it for the lulz.

Beaches and Shores

he did nothing wrong

He explains it all to you, but Essentially he was just miserable and bitter and lacked the maturity to deal with his issues. Basically a supreme gentleman type

Man, I had that panel as my profile pic on EVERY forum back in the day and I still managed to find a GF. That shit would NEVER fly by modern geek culture. We've had to sanitize so much in the road to hit mainstream.

Adachi = based

Whiny little faggot couldn't deal.

>never ask a girl out while growing up
>starts thinking they owe him sex because of his toxic masculinity
>is surprised when he is rejected and leaves the girl to die
>he doesn't think he is wrong
Atlus did a stellar job at making this guy unlikable and an asshole. I genuenly wnated to defeat him. It was dissapointed to see him only be first phase of another boss though. Also him having a social link in golden is garbage because it humanasises him and normalises incel thoughts

He should have had sex.

>supreme gentleman type
Exactly this

I'm replaying P4G now and he speaks like an incel

Literally the textbook definition of a faggot Elliot Rogers incel
This

have sex

Incel

It sounds cliche and SJW but he IS a literal incel.

He did it because Atlus pussied out at making Majima the killer last minute and made a random throwaway npc the killer with no foreshadowing like Majima

If I could push people into tvs I would probably do it too.

He’s based as fuck, that’s why. Triggered a whole load of normalfags while barely lifting a finger.

Who the FUCK is majima

Dojima, Majima is from Yakuza.

Is Adachi an incel?

That's part of why Adachi works so much: there are plenty of people who would do the same thing if they were in his shoes. If you could easily kill with absolutely no proof of you being the culprit, who's to say you wouldn't?

He ran out of options.

Who the fuck is Majima?

>Retards can't understand his character
>Lol incel buzzword
Fucking hilarious how Yea Forums praises Adachi yet doesn't understand him.
Adachi is way above the average incel loser.
>Just average looking appearance wise
>Did pretty well in school and graduated on top of the police force before getting transferred to a shitty redneck town
>He has a steady job
>Becomes genuine friends with Dojima
All his life he fell for the hard work meme and became dissatisfied with his boring life, so wants he to have "fun" by fucking shit up with his powers.
Just because he treats women with disrespect doesn't make him an incel

Attached: 01.jpg (570x321, 32K)

He treats women with disrespect because they wouldn't fuck him. That's exactly why he's an incel.

THE MAAAAAAAAAAAAD DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOG
MAAAAAAAAAAAAJIIIIIIIIIIMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

>Just because he treats women with disrespect doesn't make him an incel
This, but also: he treats everyone with disrespect, I dunno why spergs always focus on the women part and say he’s an incel

Yeah adachi wasn’t so bad looking and actually had a decent paying job. He just fucked it all up, mostly because he was disillusioned with reality and his efforts.

Back to solitary, Adachi-san. Visiting hours are over.

Attached: 1551567598084.png (587x571, 227K)

>Is clearly sexually frustrated
>Did something really dumb to get banished to the town in the first place
>Admits he only became a cop because he wanted to have a gun
>Even describes himself as average
Adachi is textbook "never knew what he wanted to do with his life", and he was bitter about his ennui, as well that others had an easier life or naturally more talent than him. He was never content

>If you could easily kill with absolutely no proof of you being the culprit, who's to say you wouldn't?
I wouldn't because I'm not a fucking pyscho who wants to see people suffer or die?

you mean Nanako

Attached: 1ae.jpg (638x697, 51K)

Because he pushed the two girls that rejected his advances into TVs.

Mitsuo was pushed in too but that was "to keep the game going"

Basically:
If you act as a slave to all women, in relationships or not, and act like a fake person, you are a cuck.
If you treat women exactly how they treat you, whether its treating you bad or good, you are a centrist.
And finally, if you let the women stereotypes get to you so badly that you judge all women the same, in a negative cynical light, without giving them a chance, you are an incel.

Personally, I'd rather just treat people how they treat me, cause if they don't treat me like a normal person, they don't deserve pity.

it had to be done

Attached: Adachi (2).png (498x574, 449K)

In real life Adachi would never get convicted because of zero evidence

So really, if a killer kills women he is an incel, but if he kills ANYONE, what does that make him?

Attached: F1AF969B-2A10-497A-AB6F-6F8AF0244330.jpg (2593x1485, 1.86M)

That reminds me, how much did Dojima make as a detective on a backwater police force that he could afford to give his nephew 100,000 yen for doing well on all his school tests?

Yes. He was an avid reader of OneAngryGamer.

>HE'S NOT AN INCEL!! HE'S JUST -describes an incel to the fucking T-
Holy shit the butthurt is incredible

They just really wanted someone behind bars for the murders, it didn't matter who, but he's the most likely they have. If anything, Adachi could leave prison early because of this and good behavior.

He understood women get wet for murderers they want to be killed

>Did pretty well in school and graduated on top of the police force before getting transferred to a shitty redneck town
It's never said anywhere he was "top" of anything, he merely has a high opinion of himself and he's already shown to be delusional.
>All his life he fell for the hard work meme and became dissatisfied with his boring life, so wants he to have "fun" by fucking shit up with his powers.
His fun came from messing around with the murders, thats true but it's not quite his entire character. Adachi believes that his experiences reflect on everyone, that everyone is just unhappy with being as mundane as he is without talent and what not. That's why he wants the shadows to fuck everyone over, because when everyone is a mindless shadow all that shit is thrown out the window. The problem is, as the game makes abundantly clear, Adachi is fucking crazy. People like to point out that the team shut down his arguments without actually trying to counter them, the point of his arguments are that they are absolutely insane and painted because of his shitty, selfish mindset.
>Just because he treats women with disrespect doesn't make him an incel
No what makes him an "incel" is the fact that he believes he is entitled to everything, including women, and reacted violently when he was essentially rejected. Twice. It's the same kind of tantrum he shows when it's clear the scooby gang aren't listening to his rants.

Attached: 1549090313575.gif (446x469, 1.17M)

>Yea Forums used to love based adachi
>Now they hate him
what the FUCK happened?

It's Japan, all they need is a confession to throw the book at him and say case closed. Their legal system is so ass backwards it's almost hilarious

>In real life Adachi would never get convicted because of zero evidence
Japanese legal system. Someone MUST be punished. Also I think he confesses after you defeat him?
His story gets picked up on in... One of the dancing spinoffs I think? Or was it the fighting game. But yeah he's in jail but repentant

You quoted me and I agreed with you.

It was the fighting game where his story picked up.

Redditfags invading and spewing the word “incel” at anyone who disrespects women is what went wrong

$1000 isn’t that much money considering
-He gave out that money over like 7 months
-Yu’s parents most likely gave Dojima money for the trouble
-You only get that much if you’re the top of the school in each exam, that’s worthy of some money
-Dojima doesn’t do anything besides work, he probably doesn’t spend on anything besides nanako and booze
-He could’ve had a life insurance policy on his wife

It was always a meme, haha adachi did nothing wrong bitches and whores lmao

Except hating bitches and whores has gotten old with identity politics infecting everything. It's not fun anymore.

what happens in the fighing game exactly?
All I know is that p3's cast comes back

trannies have targeted this thread

Invasion of Incel becoming the hottest new buzzword to use. If you:
Say negative experiences that involved women.
Say negative words about women in general.
Generalize women in any way.
Try to rationalize the biological differences in the brain between women and men.
Try to explain anything about the differences between women and men.
Blame others for your problems, even if its justified.
State a right leaning opinion of any kind.
Then you get called a Incel.
I've entirely lost any definition the word had at this point. I just see it as "I don't like you" as the definition now.

I'm just as lost as you are

Attached: pardo_and_adachi.jpg (960x1236, 128K)

>you lived long enough to see normalfags fail to define what an incel is so they took a fictional character and stole his motives as the definition of the made up term

so did he do it because he was bored?
i hope i missed something because that was fucking stupid

Nope I put my pee pee in vajayjay.
You just don't understand his character. Buzzword spouting underage

Isn't incel just the new virgin insult women like to use to "win" arguments?

I wonder what the word filter will filter "Incel" into when it eventually comes. Still find it funny how the right equivalent got turned into onions.

user what the fuck would you do if you lived in the sticks and had TV powers?

Hopefully Yea Forums faced its true self and realized that a villain is in fact, a villain with little to zero redeeming qualities.
Didnt they have Mitsuo already?, or was he dropped off of the case the moment Adachi(I guess) confessed to the crime(which Mitsuo also did)

He was bored and hated everyone who seemingly was fine with their lives rather than frustrated like him.

It is way fucking better to get rejected than to never try and let fantasy scenarios and retarded bullshit influence your mind.

The first kill was by accident, he was being a creepy stalker to the chick and it just so happened she fell through the TV. Now the implication of what he was doing, and the fact he says he made "one little mistake" kind of leads me to believe that prior to all the golden shit the idea was he'd done this sort of harassment to girls before and got tossed to some nowhere town because of it. Anyway after he figured out he had powers he went on a power trip, fucking with Nametame when he called for help and threw that kid into the TV when he tried to confess and ruin the fun game he was watching. He had some deeper idealogy, which was incredibly flawed, which basically led him to believe the world'd be better off if everyone was a mindless nothing shadow, but it does seem like his primary concern through out the story was getting his kicks watching people scramble around trying to play murder mystery.

I like how they use incel as an insult as in “you have no value if you haven’t fucked a girl”, so what does that say about their opinion of women then? they only exist for men to fuck them? yikes

Basically the plot of every crossover comic ever. It's a lazy excuse to get the two teams to fight, which they do. The guy pulling the strings is basically nu-Adachi who thinks Adachi will want to help him, but Adachi tells him to fuck off. Only thing of any importance that happens is Liz decides to travel the world finding other persona users to form a party with so she can use the power of friendship to rescue Door-kun.

>His true nature is that of a sadistic misanthrope who manipulates others for his own amusement, acting as if everything was a game and doesn't seem to care about the consequence of his actions. When he was younger, his parents only cared about his grades in school, resulting in an aloof upbringing without many friends. Due to the hard work in his youth, Adachi feels that he should be entitled to success in life. Because of his lot in life, Adachi blames society for the misfortunes that befell him. Much like how Yosuke was, Adachi grew bored of the life he lived in the quiet country life of Inaba. This was what motivated him to instigate his cat-and-mouse game, as he simply wanted to uplift his boredom, even describing his experience pushing Mitsuo Kubo into the Midnight Channel as a "kick." He views his reasons for what he's doing as justifiable, saying that he wants to save and prevent humanity from the pain, suffering, boredom and despair of life.

>Regarding his relationships with the people around him, Adachi does not seem keen on hanging around or depending on others, believing that true freedom lies in solitude. Being treated with empathy and kindness confuses him, due to his lack of friends in his youth. He has a lack of empathy for others, whether it be his victims or their loved ones, and encourages Yu to adopt a similar mindset to look out for oneself. Should Yu personally confront Adachi, the latter would only refute that it was Yu's decision to befriend Adachi that betrayed him, rather than Adachi himself. Despite this, Adachi does express in his letter to Yu fondness for his life with the Dojimas, showing that he does show some appreciation for the values of friendship that he often scoffs at. Whenever Adachi upsets Nanako by antagonising Yu, he would try to uplift her spirits, as shown by performing a magic trick for her.

If Adachi confessed he'd do it for the girls, not the teacher, which Mitsuo killed. So Mitsuo would still get done for murder and all but Adachi would get done for the other two. It'd also help that Adachi was the one who was interviewing Mitsuo.

I live in the sticks and haven't started killing people.

B-BUT HE'S AN BITTER INCEL R-RIGHT?

I don't hate Adachi and any time Adachi has ever been discussed people have argued about him. The whole "he did nothing wrong" thing has always been a meme, anyone with basic understanding of the damn plot can figure out that Adachi is a crazy person. Stop being fucking paranoid.

newfags don't know what are good villains anymore

Which is fucking retarded since the story opens with her one shotting the final boss of FES. Oh, you could do it that easily? So why the fuck does he even have to fucking stay there as a guardian when YOU can just keep beating it to death over and over again every time it reforms?

>The Investigation Team tracks down Adachi, and find him within the very first area the protagonist, Yosuke and Chie ended up in: Mayumi Yamano's dungeon. Upon finding Adachi, the detective reveals that he held a romantic interest towards Mayumi Yamano and used his job on the police force to be alone with Mayumi while she stayed in the Amagi Inn, telling the others that he was sent by to protect her from the media. Curious about the affair, Adachi called Mayumi to the inn's lobby and asks whether her affair with Namatame was real, which Mayumi brushes off by saying she doesn't have to explain herself to him. Enraged that she didn't deny her affair, Adachi calls her "another worthless bitch" and pushes Mayumi back, accidentally dropping her into the TV behind them. Since Adachi only tried inserting parts of his body into the TV before, he was surprised and amused to see that humans can actually enter the TV. After the incident, Mayumi ended up as the first victim, with Saki Konishi acting as witness. Adachi later reveals he wanted to punish her for being a "stupid bitch" for "betraying" him, and never intended to fully push her in.

>Adachi later questions Saki about her discovery of Mayumi's corpse. Through his questions, Adachi tries to seduce Saki, but Saki retaliates by slapping him. Spurned, Adachi pushes Saki into the TV inside the police station's interrogation room, being able to do so with ease since Saki's body was lighter and skinnier than Mayumi's. Boasting his accomplishment to the Investigation Team, Adachi remarks that he wasn't committing crimes, but merely establishing justice by killing those two "gold-diggers" hoping to swindle Namatame's money.

How did they do it Yea Forums? How is Adachi still the best Nusona mortal antagonist? No one has even come close to the feeling of Adachi.

OC donut steel Shu or some shit forces everyone in into the TV realm and they all fight shadow versions of each other which unknowingly contributes power to whatever the fuck Shu was trying to summon.
Here's Adachi's chapter in it if you want. It's the dub if that doesn't bother you.
youtu.be/goxEqLDspOA

Or Adachi would try to make Nanako feel better because if Nanako told daddy that Adachi was mean to her, Adachi would be fucking destroyed.

So is door kun ever gonna live?
Also why does igor allow liz to do that?

Textbook sociopath. He's got a Ted Bundy-tier poker face

Convenient excuse to resign as an attendant so she can sneak off to visit him in his room. Repeatedly. For hours and hours at a time.

Shades Hitler was good for his short screen time in 2.

Attached: 1551628987372.jpg (960x720, 113K)

Liz bounced, she's not with Igor anymore. And no Door-kun is already dead, if he was saved by Liz it'd just be so his soul is no longer a seal.

Because the ones that came after sucked donkey balls.
>edgemaster shu
>pancake dumbass akechi

Except Adachi feels like shit when Nanako is sick in the hospital and blames Yu for it

>Nusona
No one in the P1 and P2 comes close to Adachi either

maybe it's because you don't have TV powers?

Well, the Velvet Room exists between dreams and reality, and its inhabitants are able to exist in such spaces and move throughout them, so it would stand to reason that a soul without a body could do the same thing. That's probably what she's thinking anyway.

>killed two gold digger
based?

i lught so ucking hard with this

Yeah, now I just ponder what could've been, whilst simultaneously regretting everything, whilst also letting fantasy scenarios and retarded bullshit influence my mind.

Attached: 1400683382592.jpg (400x350, 45K)

That was a concept thrown away early into development.
>no forshadowing
>Adachi is constantly showing up and going HMMMMM MURDER MURDER MURDER I do hope anyone investigating a MURDER doesn't hear THIS fact
>The whole "you shouldn't be messing around with this stuff" line delivery in both languages
>The fact that he's the only person other than Dojima outside of your friend group to show up to your house

The things in the Velvet Room aren't human though, so I don't know if it's the same thing. Either way I think the implication is more "let him pass on" rather than anything grander. I'd say time will tell but I doubt they'll go back to it.

What if I judge both men and women poorly and expect the worst from everyone?

>Igor
>Getting new vocal lines
Good joke. Also not gonna happen unless there's a canon FeMC, which is also very unlikely.

>villain with little to zero redeeming qualities.
But this isn't true for Adachi

Did you know that Caroline and Justine are just as old as how many years door-kun has been a door?

Why would igor need new lines for door to become an attendant?

And FeMC is irrelevant

Why wouldn't it happen if there was no FeMC? Door-kun already has Liz and Aigis.
Igor is true though, the japs get too anal about VAs.

Name any actual redeeming qualities he has. I'm going to expect something retarded and memey, but I'm genuinely curious.

A-Are you implying elizabeth saved door and gave him a new body as a girl? And he is now Lavenza?

I think the user was implying you need an opposite sex attendant because otherwise how will you fuck them or whatever? But that's kind of retarded, and it also bothers me because it implies that you can't have a bromance with your attendant, you either fuck them after delivering your special pokemon to them or you don't interact with them at all.

Igor would need new lines if he was to do anything, but his Seiyuu has been dead for like 7 years now. They threw out their chances of changing his voice by making it a hint for the plot twist in 5.

Because they like to have the player be able to all-but-romance the attendants. Can't do that if it's homo.

I think it was just a pedo joke.

>LOL IT'S A MEME XD
Nice one zoomer.
Just read

Oh, I didn’t think about that. Well fuck it then, just make FeMC canon.

I don’t get why japan is so anal about VA work. IIRC if a VA dies, they actually kill off the character or refuse to hire a new one. That’s a little over the top

>his body is gone
>Igor lets him stay in the velvet room as thanks for his service
What do you think.

I don’t know what you’re implying user, but igor could just give him a body for the velvet room, he’s pretty powerful

>Actually cares about Dojima, Nanako, and yes even Narukami (especially in Golden)
>Atones for his crimes even though he doesn't have to

That's literally two paragraphs describing Adachi's mindset, it has nothing to do with his redeeming qualities aside from the last part and that's a pretty small redemption moment, if even a redemption moment at all. So yes contrary to your claims Adachi has little (little being the correct one) to no redeeming qualities. The only time Adachi shows any empathy for another living being is when he shows surprise and sadness that Dojima would actually care for his well being after all of his bullshit and his letter. Those are his only two redeeming moments and they are dwarfed in comparison to the evil he has done without hesitation. He is otherwise a gleeful sadist who delights in mental torture and manipulation, doesn't show any regret over getting two women killed, one of who was a high schooler, tried to get another kid killed directly by tossing him into the police station tv so the games could continue and willfully allowed Nametame to throw innocent people into the tv where they'd die. He doesn't regret ANY of it, the only reason he even confesses is because he "lost" to you.

That's a fucking myth man they change voice actors all the time. When they respect how an actor handled the role they'll preserve it, but it's not that common.

Adachi pushed a whore golddigger into the tv, a slut bitch into the tv, framed another adulterer that cheated on his poor wife, and pushed a killer creep like Mitsuo into the tv.

Adachi is pretty much a vigilante, the only people he directly harmed were bad people. Hell if it werent for Adachi pushing the bitch into the tv, poor Yosuke would still be fucking orbiting that slut. Adachi was a good guy and this was intended. If they wanted to make him out to be bad they could have easily made someone he harmed be completely innocent but they didn't. All the people Adachi attacked have sins.

Attached: Adachi opens a clothing store.jpg (360x270, 17K)

>reeee how dare a villain hate women
what do they expect

Horse shit. He shows some level of guilt towards Dojima but he didn't give a single shit his actions led to Nanako getting tossed in the TV. There is never any indication until the moment you exit the TV that he shows any sign of guilt for what he's done to Dojima. As for you in Golden, he spends most of it trying to corrupt you to be like him, and then makes it pretty clear he never thought much of you. Hell in the accomplice ending he makes it clear just how little he actually gives a shit about you, you're his puppet.
>Atones for his crimes even though he doesn't have to
He literally wants to die in the shadow realm, but the kids refuse and tell him he'll face justice. His plans are in shambles and his game is up, it's not some heroic atonement it's a bitter acceptance to their rules after they won his game.

I mean, he is the one who suggested that there may be a higher power messing with them, so he technically is the only reason Yu was able to find and take out Izanami. He could’ve easily just left things alone and humanity would’ve been fucked. That’s a bit of redemption I think

And now he's a little girl. Living the dream.
I actually do wonder about Igor's attendants. Both Liz and the twins say they're a family.

They attendants are related. They say as much in PQ multiple times, and IIRC P5D confirmed it too

I mean he's literally just spitballing in that letter, a letter in which he tells you that he's going to play ball and live by your rules, stay in prison and serve his sentence. After you pummel his face in the tv world of course. I don't think it's part of any sort of redemption he has, I think it's a bit of a stretch to use that a positive character moment.

They aren't actual people the attendants are created by Phil and Igor, which is how they're "related" in that they're all basically fractions of his power.

Why'd he do it, Yea Forums?

Attached: MajiBoomer.jpg (1048x850, 442K)

>I'm sure you're surprised to get this letter out of the blue. I'm writing this because there's something I need to tell you. Ever since I made it out alive, there are some things I understand now. It's true that my game's over. As you all insisted at the time, I'll abide by the rules of this world. But as long as I'm in stir here, I can't clean up after myself. So I hope this will give you something to think about, regarding the case. There's still this feeling I can't shake...)

>(It's about how it all started...about that Midnight Channel. Now I remember...Someone told me about it when I first came to town...before I heard the rumors at the station. And I was intrigued when I noticed that something similar was written on Namatame's reports as well. But...I can't remember who it was that told me. Since Namatame and I both gained our power after coming to Inaba...I have a feeling that has something to do with it. I don't know if any of this will be useful or not...But I hope it can help somehow.

He outright says that there’s something he needs to tell you, and the main focus of the letter is about the higher power. It doesn’t redeem him, but it definitely is a positive moment

When did Adachi get there anyway?

Apparently before Yuu.

That's more about his own curiosity than anything else, since he can no longer pursue that lead

Arena makes it clear he's got no interest in redemption and doesn't feel sorry for what he did. His only regret, if anything, is breaking Dojima's trust.

Arena was fucking weird in that aspect. It showed he genuinely liked Dojima by the end of it all, cool, alright. It also showed he didn't have any empathy for what he did and literally gives 0 shits about the lives lost because of him. He seems to flip flop between glib sociopath incapable of empathy to secretly reluctant evil friend.

I think the Elliot Rodgers comparison is fucking hilarious. Why do you stupid fags get triggered so easily?

I'm one of those girls that like Adachi. It's a very conflicting feeling. He fits the incel bill to a T; literally killing two women because they didn't want to fuck him. He plays with people's lives with little to no remorse and feels entitled to the world just because he wasted his youth away studying.

At the same time though the underlying issues, he deals with resonated a lot with me. Him feeling boxed into life in adulthood, his desire to lead a solitary life not because he enjoyed but because it was easier than creating lasting bonds with people. His S.link and those 2 episodes in the Golden anime flesh out these feelings even more.

So, I can appreciate his character and the nuance of it while still acknowledging he's a terrible person who fucked himself over and deserves to rot away in jail.

Attached: 1482993913051.png (739x869, 172K)

Because he's King Incel.

Play Golden you retards.

Attached: 1543712930264.jpg (960x544, 81K)

Evil people can have loved ones, doesnt make them any less monstrous, but at least it shows that they have more in their life than "lol, I like watching people die"

>I'm one of those girls
Hmmmmmmmmmm

At least he is not King Moron

I still like him even after my initial playthrough all those years ago and I feel like I will yet again once I play Golden. He resonated with me as well but he also shows what can happen when you aren't kept in check by others.

no one cares

Ooh, I haven't tasted this pasta before.

I stated my gender because I found it relevant to attest to the strength of his character. Despite him being a misogynist who killed women for petty reasons I still found a lot of qualities in his depiction that I enjoyed.

Yeah he definatly still stands up. I think it's why I found Akechi so disappointing as a villain. He felt like a severely downgraded, bootleg Adachi.

t. elliot rodger

Edgelord with delusions of grandeur got shoved into an average job in the bumfuck of nowhere. He lashed out in frustration.
