get gooder

Place blocks to clear lines

It's legitimately just about practice and staying calm.

Keep it aimed at attackers the whole time if getting swamped is the problem.

t-spin

Learn how to bait, which targets to attack, and how to set up t-spins.

unironically get better, practice and stop freaking out

Do T-Spins send more junk blocks? I can T-Spin when I see it but I haven’t learned to set any up.

Press up to fast drop tetriminoes, build for back to back tetrises, always keep the good bar on your L and you are golden.

>Set up for tetris
>I piece never show up
>Set up for T spin
>T piece never shows up
FUCK I WISH I DIDNT SUCK AND KNEW BUILD ORDER. I DONT EVEN KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH THESE Ls and Zs

Playing against so many players is a flawed design because it will always benefit a small pool of absolute best players, making fluke wins almost impossible, prove me wrong

linis into bagina :DD

I think doubles send as much as a tetris.

A t spin double is a Tetris
A t spin triple does more than a Tertis

Explain why the facilitation of fluke wins is desirable.

Yes they do.

Tspin single - 3 damage
Tspin double - 4 damage
Tetris - 4 damage
Tspin triple - 6 damage

If multiple people target you, you can easily kill a bunch of them with tspin doubles

lol I keep getting top 2, gotten 3 a bunch and 2 a few times but I can’t win. lol I want to jump of a bridge

I hadn’t played Tetris for more than 5 minutes at a time since I got a game boy as a kid. I’ve never enjoyed battle royal games. But good god, I spend way too much goddamn time on Tetris 99. It’s incredible

Christ I wish I could play this game.

There should never be fluke wins Only the best should win.

There’s a build order?

Makes the competition better balanced and less boring

Post your level, Yea Forums.

How is letting people win by effectively chance balanced? How is a competition where the most skilled win boring?

It's an Arika game, so it probably uses TGM's

There's many builds that lead to "infinite games" aka as long as you don't get much trash you can pretty much play forever.
There's triple T spin infinites, I piece infinites and a ton more. The thing is you need to know how to adapt when the randomizer doesn't give you the piece you need to continue the infinite.

We aren’t starting from zero here. There’s nerds who have been playing this shit forever.

And why shouldn't their practice and skill be rewarded?
