so...what went wrong?
So...what went wrong?
Phantom Hourglass was fantastic.
Boring as fuck dungeons, all the handheld Zeldas are too easy since Minish Cap
It was good.
I had fun with spirit tracks tho
Comfy games
I could never beat ST because the DS fucking refused to recognize the sand temple song. I tried it for fucking weeks.
literally design for toddlers
They're just kind of limited. Be it because they're on a portable or the touch controls, but there isn't much to do, even when they tried inovating.
Also fuck the Ocean King temple for being visited too many times.
I enjoyed them, they had a comfy feel and engaged me throughout. I also liked Linebeck.
idk man, to 13-year-old me they were pretty much exactly what I wanted out of a DS game.
>all the handheld Zeldas are too easy
I mean that's just Zelda in general. It shouldn't stop the gameplay from being well-designed fun, but it does, especially in the case of PH/ST.
Maybe someday somebody with somebody who loves video games will take over the series. Maybe someday, but not today.
They were SO CLOSE with ALBW though.
If renting was limited to 1 item at a time the difficulty would be there. But sadly they decided to give you the ability to be end game Link within an hour.
Same
I still have my copy stuck at that part
Temple of the Ocean King and stealth sections.
Phantom Hourglass was fantastic. Really hope it and ST get a remake or something to iron out the kinks. For Phantom Hourglass, I'd add more unique island locals, more unique music (both for dungeons and islands), slightly better shortcut system for ToTOK (I.E, takes you 2 mins to get to that point, it subtracts 2 minutes from your timer on subsequent visits if you choose to use the warp, rather than setting it to whatever your time was when you reached the shortcut warp)... alternative floors in the ToTOK leading to alternative routes for items and such, slightly longer ToTOK, blah blah you get me.
God. If Spirit Tracks has one huge flaw, it's easily the flute duets. While I like the boat waaay more than the train it's at least bearable, but fuck the flute duets.
Phantom Hourglass was plagued with mediocre dungeons and a bad main dungeon while Spirit Tracks fixed most the problems its predecessor had. Also the latter game had the best Zelda to date as she actually interacts, travels, and fights alongside Link instead of being stuck at the beginning and end of the game as usual.
minish cap is easier than ph and st you retarded faggot
I'm saying that Minish Cap is easy dumbass
They're both better than twilight princess and wind waker
Same here, it's a white, not a purple.
Nothing, those are both fun games if not a bit repetitive with the main dungeons
I agree with this guy on the flute though, the flute fucking sucked and was awful. ST has a pretty great climax outside the 30 fucking minutes you'll spend trying to get the flute segment right
Couldn't even finish PH, but I unironically enjoyed ST. It also has one of the greatest overworld themes and final boss themes that is sadly overlooked because most people just assumed it was as awful as PH.
>all the handheld Zeldas are too easy since Minish Cap
ALL Zelda games are piss easy since LttP
