The isometric entries (Ark of Naphistim/Oath In Felghana/Origin) absolutely are. Bump combat (Ys I & II Chronicles) might be if you don't mind primitive gameplay systems. Party Ys (Seven/Memories of Celceta/Lacrimosa of Dana/upcoming XI) is probably the least beloved of all its eras but as far as modern action RPGs go it's fine.
