if you don't download the 100% file, you have to play the "story" mode of the game, which is basically you put a bunch of your created characters in a school and you have to talk to them and get them to like you and join your club, where you teach them how to talk to boys so they aren't completely hopeless when they graduate high school.

you know how you have to pick their personality and answer questions about them like whether or not they like x type of food and shit? well that stuff is applied to the game's story mode, which is required to unlock all the positions in the game, you run around a school with a bunch of the girls you created inhabiting it(there are also game created girls with actual routes that you can take). You then have to talk to the girls, which can range from things like studying with them, having lunch with them, and answering questions about them(which is where those creator questions come into play). there are places to have your character fall asleep at in the school and certain characters, if they like you enough, will fool around with you while you're sleeping(which then transitions into the H sections).

it speeds up the time in the game, it gets annoying having to wait for the next section to start after you've exhausted all conversations with the girls.

This desu, I've moved on to KK so I can do all the lolis and highly stylized characters that I couldn't pull in Honey Select, but I've had to much fun in the latter to say I prefer one over the other.

They're tied for me.
The studio thing they have going definitely beats the story-focus, sport minigames or crazy antfarms of the previous Illusion titles.

It's been years and years.
Sure, it's hilarious and/or hot as fuck the first few weeks, but at some point the game runs out of surprises and you've pretty much seen it all.

For AA3 to be entertaining they'd need to expand it into the most deep and complex dating/sex game and god knows Illusion ain't got time for that

There was an update with the last DLC that gives an option to prevent girls from forcing conversations on you. Turn it on and they’ll just walk up to you and have an icon over their heads.

What else is there even to do?

What can you do with the studio that it's so much fun? I honestly never tried it in any of their games for more than 5 minutes. To me, the studio ist just there for making poses of the characters, take a screenshot and look at / fap to it. Is there any more to the studio than that?

At first just do character swap and adjust the difference in heights

Then change maps, change the lights, add characters, learn from what other people do, that's how everyone got gud at it.

what a shame, as someone who has played both i understand each strength they have. its too bad their discord is run by trannies with this fucking shirt included. AA2 can be improved appearance wise but anyone competant can make a great work in Koikatsu. However, is also true and is STILL making m ore work as of right now. Koikatsu's gameplay is stupid shit and no one who has played both will recognize koikatsu as having the better "gameplay" at all.
