FUCK g2a and FUCK key selling websites. I just got scammed bros.
at least I paid for the $5 good goy protection so I'll be getting my money back

Other urls found in this thread:
>expecting to keep your games after the seller does a chargeback
>seller does a chargeback
more like the seller buys the game with a stolen credit card.
owned
>G2A
You asked for it, you literally asked for this.
cdkeys works fine bro
>using G2A
that's pretty retarded OP, you should look for pages that search for discounts from legit places instead
>buying games
Get fucked buycuck
retard
works fine for me
idiot.
get your games from green man or fanatical
green man gaming is reddit
Never had a problem with them after buying nearly a hundred of keys. A friend did because he bought from a shady turkroach vendor. Enjoy being cucked out of your money guys.
>Sekiro still $70 with CDKeys
What the fuck
>buying new games g2a
You asked for it dingwad. Never buy the most latest and most popular releases where the scam chances are nigh.
You dont need to pay any money for g2a protection. They open a contact with the seller and if the seller doesnt respond in 15 days they give you a full refund.
>buying games on a website that wants you to buy "protection" to not lose money
You have no one to blame but yourself
regional keys dummy
im an indie dev, I did the same thing when i found out G2A was selling my stolen keys. I deactivated them and the salt of all he retards who bought it from G2A and lost their game was hilarious
www.cheapshark.com
>hmm, this game is 60 bucks but this store has it for 20
Hey fucktard, if a deal sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
>paying more than a fiver for anything on g2a
>buying anything that came out in the past year on g2a
>using g2a
You deserve it
I love this gif.
another argument for Epic Games store
If you're gonna be a cheapskate, you might as well just pirate games.
If you're not buying it from official channels just fucking pirate
Morally speaking it's the same, but you're not throwing your money away
Dont be retard next time, avoid g2a, kinguin and cdkeys.
>buy games
>but do it from sites which use stolen credit cards
The absolute state of OP
Just pirate you retard
>kinguin
this is the most cancerous of the 3
You should had doubled down by paying directly using your credit card, so I can laugh at you more
Did you check the seller before you bought the key or did you just go for the cheapest?
Well I've had good luck so far.
Then the owner of the credit card would obviously do a charge back.
what is this,2007?
wake up gramp, this is 2019 and the term is REKT
rekt is so 2014
>not pirate
top retard
g2a? moar like a2m, amirite?
something like this happened to me the other day
you get into a conversation with the seller, and if he is legit, in no time he will agree to refund the money
the problem is some ignore you for weeks
add to the injury that thanks to EU laws, G2Pay wallets are frozen in EU region, so sellers don't want to refund you with real money.... everyone is waitint for g2a to find a solution, because you cant use wallet money, and if they caught you using a VPN, they block your account forever
it is not that big of a deal
about 100 transactions so far, and this only happened to me 3 times, and all the times were in December... I don't know what was going on during that time, but either Humble pulled the plug on some keys, or some fucks with too much did a massive fraud
anyway for literal cents... I think it is the former, and humble is regionally locking some stuff from the monthly
>Buying on G2A
So what's the safe Cheap-o place? Fanatical?
GMG
CDKeys is the best lower price point keysellers from my experience and I mostly get new games from there.
If you want to support developers then use GMG since they take the discount from their own cut. Though their prices aren't as good as some other keysellers, they're at least legit and you're supporting the developers.
G2A is the biggest scam website on the planet. I remember buying some dlc for EU4 there years ago and I was recently charged 2 bucks for "inactivity" because they automatically made an account for me when I bought one game there.
>G2A is the biggest scam website on the planet. I remember buying some dlc for EU4 there years ago and I was recently charged 2 bucks for "inactivity" because they automatically made an account for me when I bought one game there.
my ass
to create an account you need all types of verifications
second of all, the inactivity charge was done to your g2a wallet, and not your credit card
all those pathetic lies are fantastic: better prices for me
>bought dozens of games from kinguin
Was I just lucky? Will they remove my games from my account in the future? I'm scared now
always used gmg and never had a problem
Imagine shilling for g2a
>enjoy being cucked out of your money
Like you? You're the retard paying for games.
>Using G2A
>Not CDkeys or Kinguin
>buying DLC from paradox
YOU GUYS ARE GOING ALL OUT
I checked again, it was for g2a plus, something they never asked if I wanted to subscribe to yet still felt the need to charge for
imagine lying against g2a in this board
well you don't have to imagine... it is what you are literally doing
i know, because I've used g2a for years, and you are lying from a stupid thread someone posted on reddit
>at least I paid for the $5 good goy protection so I'll be getting my money back
won't be getting your five buckos back, tho
there is a prompt for g2a plus when you are buying stuff
you need to deactivate it
they can't charge you for something you have not done
are they scummy? sure, but the same as Amazon with their prime shit on every purchase, asking you if you want free shipping (and enrolling you in prime)
Heh so much for Steam NOT Being a monopoly. Either buy from Steam or get your keys removed.
Steam should punish the buyer, not you. Still, just take the hit and move on. Lesson learned.
Only thing i bought there wat Metro Last Light non-redux version, a month ago for like 6 or 7 bucks
For old games e games taken off from steam it can bea a good deal
I literally can't trust a website with that many fees. so many websites out there don't have this problem.
only buy from big stores/users
humble is killing monthly keys on the regular now
too much key flips
ITT: indie devs in full force trying to spread fake news (note the thread yesterday about g2a and how it works flawlessly). You should focus more on making a good game first, maybe then somebody will buy it and try to support you.
>I can't read when I make a purchase online.
>start using allkeyshop
>realize G2A isn't even the cheapest
>abuses the shit out of fees
You deserve it, OP.
That's what you get for not supporting the devs faggot
>allkeyshop
i bought an office 2019 key today for 17e
that page is fantastic
WAIT I BOUGHT SOMETHING OFF G2A YEARS AGO AM I BEING CHARGE 2$ FUCK
>Enjoy being cucked out of your money guys.
Like OP? You are literally dumber than people who pay to pirate via private trackers or whatever. At least their games are never taken away.
That's what you get bitch
>be pirate fag
>only learn about cdkeys g2a and kingquin today
>realize i missed out on so many cheap games
fucking kill me i hate being a pirate fag sometimes
Happened to me once, like a year after I bought the game. I contacted them had to sit in a long queue but they refunded me the full thing in the end with no real issue. Next time you're playing something sit in queue on the background, they will more than likely refund you.
I personally have bought like about 120 games between g2a, and kinguin
and in terms of software, i've bought about 5 office and 6 windows 10 pro licenses
zero issues, other than 3 shit indie game keys revoked from december 2018
2 from the same retard
and the other was refunded in less than an hour
g2a is in an all time low now, thought, with the EU law buillshit, but I recommend this pages a lot
don't even need to pay protection, you are protected anyways. Paying gives you priority. Had one scammer and one unintentional fuckup, both got resolved, the former by g2a the latter by the seller.
How about you stop buying from shitty shady shops that are known to be shady?
Theres enough athorized shops whete you pay maybe 5 dollars more but can be at ease.
can this happen to games you bought from them a long time ago?
>Buying newer games on g2a
Just pirate games you cheap cunts
i've bought 20+ games on g2a and haven't been scammed yet
this
>I paid for the $5 good goy protection
It used to be like $1 iirc.
So many steam buy cucks in this thread.
I've bought many games from g2a, kinguin, cdkeys, etc. 95% of these purchases go through without a hitch (100% for me), meaning that yes, this is absolutely worth it.
Fuck all the people in this thread saying 'huur it's your own fault dummy!'. Fucking idiots.
>eBay
>seller is in charge of insuring the delivery they send out
>g2a
>buyer is in charge of insuring the delivery they receive
I used to buy on g2a, but I started to realize how bullshit this really was. The protection should be automatic.
never ever had an issue with g2a
only one time a key was already used but I contacted the seller and within minutes he sent me a replacement which worked
all that without out that protection garbage (which is most of the time more expensive than the actual keys)
the protection thing is a meme by itself
you are always protected if you get scammed
the difference is that if you pay for the insurance, they refund you instantly, and then they deal with it themselves
basically you are paying for that refund if it happens, the same way as any other insurance
Never had a problem with cdkeys desu
my only issue with cdkeys is that I couldnt' buy anything because my paypal account was always rejected, and I gave up after asking support
That sucks
I will try again using my own credit card
I stopped being paranoid about not using my card a long time ago
All gray market sites are just places for people to sell keys bought with stolen credit cards. Someone is gonna get fucked over (probably you or the developers) while the scammer runs with the money. If you're gonna be a cheapskate just pirate.
>paying extra for the implicit warranty which you have by right on all purchases of any form
Considering chargeback is a thing, buying expensive and new games there like the op is just a retarded gamble.
>Buy cheap af stuff
>Lose just a few $ if chargeback happens
Don't worry user. That site that operates entirely off purchases on stolen credit cards won't misuse your credit card!
Explain
>Don't worry user. That site that operates entirely off purchases on stolen credit cards won't misuse your credit card!
more reddit bullshit
it is the same as saying everything on craigslist is stolen
many people sell their spare keys for cents
literal cents
do you think people will scam 4 keys to have a 30 cent revenue?
cut the crap, dev
buy from a high rated sellers retard
you can also just go back to the site and get a refund, it's like ebay where you go through the seller first and then if they take too long the site admins come and get involved and they often do because they're anal as shit about bad press
I've been selling old humble keys on there for years with no problems
I really fucking hate g2a, but they are cheap
>10 dollar psn cards
>9-10 on g2a
Literally any other site
>12,5 starting plus tip
>also regionlocked, making it fucking worthless
What do I need to explain.
>Buy a $30+ dollar game
>Chargeback happens and you probably lost your 30$
>Buy a $3 dollar game
>Chargeback again and you probably lost your 3$
>buying new games from suspect seller on a key selling site
Buyfags are pic related
They're not charging back. They're stolen credit cards....
Unless you're purchasing years old shovelware that's been in six humble bundles, that's just not true. They quite literally exist to launder money with new games purchases, which is why if you buy anything new OP happens.
>Credit card gets stolen
>Owner tries to get his money back or do something
>Developer ends up revoking the keys
>They're stolen credit cards....
where's the proof?
>things that don't happen
You think people with a stolen card can't (or won't) chargeback?
GMG and Fanatical are authorized, which means there's no shady shit. They usually don't have a large selection of games though.
lol fuck drumpf
I have none, I was just saying what everyone says to prove user wrong. I don't believe they're stolen. Some sure, but not most.
...
>Unless you're purchasing years old shovelware
you are literally talking out of your ass
there are tons of stores selling games for cheaper prices just because of regional price fixing
you know shit about this stores, and you should stop spreading lies
Why would they? The money goes to the legitimate card holders bank account.
This. I haven't paid once for the shield and I've gotten three scams refunded. Pretty sure the "protection" is an additional fee for nothing.
im an american tho idk
>tfw just bought 5 keys off g2a and nothing happened
Are you fucking retarded? What he's saying is the original owner of the card is doing the chargeback.
Yes. Those legitimate holders charge back you fucking moron. You don't chargeback with your card you fucking child you do it directly with your bank through its banking interface using your details. Is it literally all children buying these keys or something?
Never buy new games from G2A you fucking idiot.
what did you buy
Woah calm down nerds
>tfw 3rd world prices
most publishers do regional pricing so I don't have to use those shady CD key sites
>I did it for both RE2 and DMC5
Nothing happened so far but... should I start to panic?
I love this place
everytime some fag on reddit posts about g2a being bad, the amount of white knights is insane
here, everybody calls the guy out from being a retard, and tell their success stories on g2a
Why don't you just chargeback g2a and get your money back too?
BUY FROM DECENTLY RATED SELLERS
DON'T BUY IF THE PRICE IS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE AND UNIQUE
IE: SOME FAGS PUT STUPID LOW FAKE PRICES TO GET THE GAME RANKED
BUY FROM SELLERS WITH HUNDREDS OF TRANSACTIONS
DONT BE A RETARD, AND READ WHAT YOU ARE BUYING, AND DEACTIVATE STUPID SHIT LIKE G2A PLUS OR G2A SHIELD
TAKE GOOD CARE OF THE TAXES THEY ARE CHARGING YOU
a good rule of thumb is to put money in the g2a wallet (30 cents rate) and then use that money to buy stuff (no rate)
