I just got back into minecraft and got murked by like 5 of these
they take an entire heart away and a fucking horse cant even outrun them

they are hands down WORSE than hunger
and killing them isnt as easy as it should be either. It takes like three hits with a diamond sword to kill them and each time their hit, they fly back up. And it's almost impossible not to get hurt by them while you're trying to kill them

There are lots of resource packs out there that restore the old bright green grass/cobble texture/old sounds for newer versions
Can't help with the terrain gen though

There are, but those won't be useful in something like a server.
Plus I'm not too sure how often those mods are updated. I haven't seen one in awhile

Minecraft should've stopped right before horses. Most of these "updates" just seem like mods, look at horses again. They look so complex compared to every other mob in the game to where they hardly fit imo
