Most game music only works in games and are then liked by association. Game music has very low quality in general and doesn't really hold up to actual music. However the FC5 music I actually listened to without playing it.

Taken together, I’d say NieR/NieR:Automata could be said to be the series with the best OST I've ever heard.
In terms of a single game, I’d say Final Fantasy X has the best music I know. Automata's definitely in the top 10.
