I played the first game and it is a joke of a game

It takes forever and a lot of luck to recruit certain yokais

it feels stupid the combat system when you have to turn the wheel like a retard

Yeah, it's pretty RNG based but 2 and 3 fixed that. 3 actually added a pretty rare item that can be used to guarantee recruiting a yokai, though I only use them on the higher rank yokais

I gotta say, I think I like how the first games play better.

Well rare for me at least since I don't do Blasters T that much. Not a fan of the whole procedurally generated dungeons, small time limit and traps that include ones that subtracts 2 mins from your 10 minute time limit on each floor

This is looking pretty neat still. I still dunno if the new battle system is gonna end up being good, but I appreciate that they aren't afraid to experiment, and the Slimamander boss fight looks like it keeps you on your feet relatively well, and I hope that battles don't get too mind-numbing and button-mashy

I really like how there's gonna be Yo-Kai from the regular setting, the shadowside setting, the weird past setting, and the...Enma setting? Whatever it is, I think it's a great way to have even more diversity among Yo-Kai.

Above everything else, though, I hope they have plans to localize it, and in a timely fashion.

we actually know who they are thanks to the Japanese Yo-Kai Watch 4 website and latest issue of corocoro that came out yesterday

I can tell this is probably gonna be like a Black and White situation with fans who are gonna be upset not all 752 yo-kai from previous games are in even though thats kind of unfeasible considering the new engine. But as long as theres a large variety of cool Yo-kai in the game like Shadowside Arachnus I dont mind at all.

The big white boar and the little baby boar scrolls further past, so I couldn't get them in this pic

The boars, the little baby bear, and the spider bull were revealed via website a while ago. The Nuppeppo, the hedgehog, the soda can, and the soda vending machine were revealed in corocoro yesterday.

If I recall correctly, they said that the baby bear and hedgehog are from Nate's world, the boars and the soda monsters are from the Shadowside world (which probably means that they're the Lightside and Shadowside forms), and Nuppeppo and the spider ox (Gyuki) is from the old world, of the new guy named Shin.

It seems that Shin's world is gonna have a lot of Yo-Kai based on classic youkai, which is cool

You should do sidequests at the end as a form of postgame. God I wish GameFreak would copy that for Pokemon. Instead they give us Rotomdex and fucking Z Moves. I hate that company so much.

Not sure why but I always get creeped out by characters with baby iconography like bibs, raddles, or a diaper. It makes the character feel like a creepy fetish

I didnt enjoy them that much because there was no way to keep track of them like a traditional quest list or journal. I know that would be a weird thing for pokemon to have but without one of those i have no motivation to do said quests because i'd have to go on serebii to look up where to find them which is too much of a bother.
