Yeah, SC2's intro is pretty godlike.
Another very good choice. I wasn't quite sure what to expect when I picked this up. That video put my fears to rest and filled my soul with hype.

still one of the best
I prefer the Vanilla SF4 intro because of Indestructible. I shamefully love that song.

I fucking live for cool anime intros to Japanese made RPGs. I was quite pleasantly surprised when I saw they put one into EO Untold 1.
>still no sign of a sequel nor of a switch release

NLG are making Luigi's Mansion 3 [probably/likely] Maybe after that.

this gen had some incredible intros, it's a shame nowadays games don't even have any
i want zelda as my gf, Yea Forums
>it's a shame nowadays games don't even have any
It's "wasted" money. They're very expensive to produce. Best we get now are ones that are basically glorified trailers like that Yakuza 0 one.
NO
CONTEST
It shouldn't be that costly to produce. Just take some snippets from a promotional CG video or cutscene, add some gameplay from the game itself with a different point of view and call it a day
See now you're just explaining how to do what Yakuza did.
In case you didn't notice, most of the things ITT are big expensive pre-rendered affairs made with 100% unique assets and efforts.
>Can go from bored to hype and fuck just by watching this video
I don't understand how they made something that good.
I don't mind when they have these "lower budget" intros. If anything I like them even better, I loved when iddling in the main title screen games played these 30 seconds or so demos of just gameplay. They gave the game a very arcade-y feel to them. Nowadays more often than not it's just a bunch of logos and not much more.
