TGM 3 has three next pieces and a hold queue but makes up for it by increasing the speed and difficulty by a lot

It's also worth noting GM requirements are incredibly different and that hold is a crutch that you shouldn't really use

The game has a COOL/REGRET system, where the faster you play you’ll get cools and get a higher grade, but it makes the game harder early on. Most people coming from SRS/modern Tetris will play through the beginning levels fast and ramp up the difficulty until it hits 20g and get destroyed because of how much different ARS is. It took me forever to learn how to play 20g in tgm3 burn once you get the hang of it it’s way more satisfying than modern Tetris

ACE is pretty different from the main TGM series, it uses a weird hybrid of ARS and SRS and doesn't have a Master mode

It's an SRS game without multiplayer, the best thing about SRS. It does look pretty though.

you know TGM3's Sakura mode? well this is a standalone game of only Sakura mode. you get puzzles and you gotta clear lines with jewels in them before time runs out. in the later levels, silly shit like the field flipping can and will happen.

? Tetris is a singleplayer game you retard. Holds are a crutch because they let you get out of awkward positions that you would otherwise be forced to learn.

Classic rule is the standard TGM rotation
If you want the real TGM experience, use Classic

It's not that they fucked up tetris. In PPT tetris just follows guidelines, so it's fine. It's just that Tetris and Puyo Puyo just don't work well together. Tetris is all about speed, set ups and just overwhelming your rival with constant garbage, where as Puyo Puyo is all about building a huge chain that will single handedly defeat your opponent. They literally have opposite game styles. Also garbage in Puyo Puyo is extremely inconvenient where as garbage in Tetris can actually work in your favor.

He doesn't mean just the Tetris part, but the mix of Puyo and Tetris
