It's going to be either Fortnite or Apex.

It really doesn't matter as 2020 is going to be the end of everything.

Easy answer, NeiR: Automata

especially if you ask this question 50 years from now.

nuXCOM is probably the game that I burned the most hours from the last decade. That or CIV 5, too lazy to check the numbers.

Pokemon bw and bw2

Its gotta be Dark Souls or Bloodborne. Dark Souls had a bigger impact and is a modern classic, but Bloodborne is more polished and refined. Its a tough choice.

Souls was in the 10‘s ? Then definetly souls.

dark souls doesnt count cuz it was based on demons souls which came out in '09

>cuz
>based on something else
Are you stupid or what? Same could be said about bloodborne. You can literally argue that every game from miyazaki is just a beserk game. Also fuck off nigger

look I like bw but this is taking it to a whole other level

stay assblasted i proved you wrong

Frankly probably breath of the wild or some other garbage

You know it's obvious

He said best not worst

BOTW succesor if it releases before 2020 is over.

CSGO deserves it.

He said neither, actually.

Absolutely destroyed every other game this decade, from RDR to BOTW. Nothing even came close.

played 10 mins, the controls felt awful, like swinging at air, no feedback whatsoever

Terraria

Demon's Souls didn't have anywhere near the cultural impact or recognition. Dark Souls heralded a huge positive shift in the industry, reminding developers that not every game had to be dumbed down into the dirt and reopening the door for games that trusted the player enough not to coddle them at every step. Even though Demon's Souls was the foundation it was built from, it's hard to argue against Dark Souls distinguishing itself as an extremely significant game.

Probably the best argument for Dark Souls being the game of the decade is how much it indirectly affected even people that didn't play it, simply by how it shifted the tone of game development for years after its release.

Depends if Minecraft counts since it was playable in 09
