I'm looking for something to play on ps vita. Already played atelier. I have trillion but I hear that's really depressing, was hoping for something more pleasant in tone. Action and turn based ok. I dislike monotonous combat so it should be strategic in either case. Preferably shorter as time is limited and hopefully I won't get lost if I put the game down for a week. Not a fan of random battles as they generally just add tedium. Lastly since I have no imagination I want to actually see the cute characters ingame, if it's all first person and the characters are just on the box that's no good.

mary skelter is good. It does have slow downs but this is a turn based game. Half of the levels are GARGANTUAN in size and the cause of the slowdowns. If you play it on pc then you dont have to worry about it not to mention pay as much.

I haven't tried those except Atelier, but in multiplats the vita version is rarely the best (except Persona 4 golden), because motherfucking load times. Looking at you there, Romancing SaGa 2 and Soujinengi V.

definitely avoid the vita version of caligula like the plague. in addition to its powerpoint frame rate, it's also missing all the new content and qol changes that overdose added in.
i wouldn't recommend the switch version either. it's basically unplayable in handheld mode, and now that i've gotten further into the game, it even has framerate issues in docked mode whenever there's a decent amount of npcs/enemies.

There wasnt much going on in the way of lewd in that game. Very very tame stuff. In fact the touching stuff seems so out of place you will skip it after you do it once or twice. The one thing that sucked is the english dub only dubs the major plot lines. 3/4 of the game is silent while in the jap dub, the whole game is voiced.

Moero Chronicles is really cheap on steam. It looks really low effort as a game, but the art is great and the voice acting is great too (Sugita voices a penis looking seal). Game is pretty lewd too.

There's also Mary Skelter and Labyrinth of Refrain, but I haven't played them yet.

I had fun with it but I wouldn't recommend it. You can always just pirate it and see if you like it I guess. The other 2 I mentioned are more high profile apparently.

You can try DT2, but seeing as there's no Vita emulator you're stuck with low res PSP anime girls, which is arguably worse than nothing. Anons recommend EO, but I didn't see any cute anime girls in the first few games, so I don't know about that one. Maybe it got cuter in the last few.
