Guns give you a lot of style in this game when on GS. I don't know about killing enemies though. Guns generally deal a small amount of damage and the double Kalina Ann laser deals abit but leaves you vulnerable. You don't want to be vulnerable in DMD.

Probably. DMC3 didn't really have very varied enemy types, with most of them being humanoids of similar sizes and proportions. If it worked with one of them, it would work with most of them. As far as I recall, it really only worked on maybe five or so enemy types in DMC3 as well, mainly the "humanoid with a scythe" type. There were a lot of those.

You're not actually invincible. Nightmare takes damage straight to DT when you're on him. On DMD you can eat maybe two of the weakest hits before you're thrown off with 0 DT left.

I think the reason Nero was so pissed about the "dead weight" thing was because
A) He really was dead weight in that fight, and he knows that. It hurt his pride.
B) He probably realizes that Dante just said him to get him away from there, to protect him. That hurt his pride more.
C) It was Dante who said it. Dante is literally one of three living people in the world he respects. Someone he genuinely respects and even admires telling him he's dead weight was probably a hard blow. Not to mention he owes Dante his life. Plus he lost the sword Dante gave him.
Basically, his feelings were hurt. Like a lot.

For non boss fights the most effective way to fight is turn the camera into a corner so enemies arent on screen and are passive towards you while reading poetry to spam berserk mode on summons

He's actually extremely mobile without summons in non boss fights but that requires you to get used to not being locked on while griffon is charging and shadow is in the middle of a combo.
Shit's fun. V in general is big fun the second you realize that Nightmare should be handled the same as Dante and Neros DT and only used for specific purposes in mind and only for the smallest amount of time to accomplish it.

Level 4 Gunslinger is the most viable guns-only has ever been.
You'll have a bit of trouble with a couple bosses, but the rest of the game could be done with the pretty potent damage that every gun is capable of dishing out. E&I's Honeycomb can gradually melt one enemy, Coyote's Cut-in Gunstinger gives you power and evasion all in one, and Dual Kalina's everything will get you big damage and SSS. Also hat explosions.
