That's what I was saying, I was comparing the bosses you have to fight with projectiles in both games. I wasn't saying any of them are good (they're not), but I found the NGII ones more annoying for some reason.

Theyre all annoying. But the ng2 ones are saved by improved controls. At worst you can jump and double tap b to get quick shots in. Its slower but safe. But there is enough time to safely onland charge lvl1 a bow shot. I dont have a vita and no intentions to get one, but i am amazed they got both games running on it. I wonder why they didnt try to go one last attempt and port 3

How do I git gud at NGB? I've never gotten past level 4

ninja gaiden 2 needs to come out on PC so it can actually runs stable through out.
I want a combination of 2 & sigma 2. So for example you could change enemy placement & blood options for either version.

That would be the dream. A trilogy remaster/collection and for 1 and 2, you can choose between black/2 or sigma 1/2. Everyone is happy that way and no legacies are thrown away

NGB has Doku and your uncle, Alma.
NG2 has Genshin which is fun, the greater fiends are ok to shit, Elizebeth is annoying, Zedonius can either be the easiest or the hardest one, the other 2 are just kind of there.
I say NGB even with the inferior bow controls.

Block and dodge more often in general, identify the most threatening enemy in a group and kill it asap with explosive kunai or ninpo if you need to.
Or cheese the game with flying swallow(A+Y) and Izuna drop(while moving towards and enemy hold Y+X+X+Y)

Why don't they make a new NG? It needs a revival.

Yeah its dumb but in a way its like...so they got call of duty, assassins creed, mass effect, battlefield, left 4 dead etc all this normie bait stuff out of the way now. So things can only go up. I mean its awesome to have catherine and ngb. Even some oddballs like persona 4 arena and conker are there. Things can only go up from now you know?

Look at all these series out of the way. Theres not to many big ones left and then the rest is one off games like mirrors edge, catherine, vanquish (which are all bc, but as an example). The bosses, level design, and new weapon system are really bad. The core gameplay is fun and feels like a tweak of ng2 with different physics however...enemies block or evade your attacks after 2 hits or so, making long moves pointless. A lot of encounters feel lik trials of valor. Its still a 5/10 at best (compared to 3s 1/10) but its worth trying if youve exhausted 1 and 2s content and want to try a new game. Play it on 360 if you can, if not for performance, for having the only competent controller last gen

I want an NG2 Black. Like keep the gore and the high enemy count, but better framerate and remove the shittier aspects and add new enemy types in higher difficulties.

Will never happen dude. As long as Nioh 2/3/4/5/6/7/8/9 keeps making them money, they won't take the risk of going back to making a pure action game.

We think ninja gaiden is a great series by itself. Imagine the playstation only kids, who go from like...lair and god of war and uncharted...to ninja gaiden sigma. Even if things are changed, some worse, some better, they still think its so good, ps now is an acceptable way to play it. Its nice that they enjoy it that much

I just finished NGB yesterday, and I am kinda disappointed with the final boss. I was expecting some hardcore fight, but not only was it one of the easiest fights in the game, the hardest part of the chapter was just getting to him because the platforming is fucking trash. Might replay it on a harder difficulty later.
