Sick reference bro.

It is not the current year. The year is now in the future and everything is not the same

Attached: please stop doing this.jpg (1920x1080, 168K)

It's the "cobble together a bunch of parts from different guns" type of overdesigned, but I'm not immediately seeing something that'd make it nonfunctional.

>name most generic gun in the entire vidya, you can’t
>

I can do more damage with my bike chains.

look at that barrel length tho

Despite it being generic this is still sex

this thing gets worse the longer i look,

>protrusion serves no purpose as chainsaw are not striking weapons
>guiding pully would get chewed up instantly
>chain guides only let you get about a half inch of penetration before the get in the way
>the fuel tank is a handle causing stress on the threads
>exhaust aimed right back at you
>back guard not long enough to prevent damage from kickback

what a mess

Was it kino?

Thats just a butchered p90 PDW with a top rail carrying handle instead of a top feed and a rear magazine well.

for more accuracy of course

not a fan of the weapon design in general in this game especially since they don't let you paint them

>AK with car audio parts and a CPU attached

I actually really like this design. It reminds me of the modified AK in the film Elysium.

Dude wires and randomly placed processors lmao

not gonna lie, i would be quite suprised if the world ever runs out of aks.

Are there even any video games that don't have over-designed guns or take pre-existing guns but with stupid bullshit added to them?

looks like a nerf longshot

where does the underbarrel feed from? why does it have a second bolt? wouldn't you want the back end of the gun to be atleast close to as heavy as the front?

Funny, I was about to say how I hate that design and it was the same reason I disliked Elysium, well I disliked Elysium for more then that.

>Iv got spurs, that jingle jangle jingle

Attached: 1404658765770.jpg (2000x1500, 852K)

Well, I mean, some may scorn it as casual, but curving the bullet manually ends up being quite a strain on your arms.

How the fuck does the magazine feed into the chamber?!

That design is kind of neat, even if the feeding mechanism makes no fucking sense and reloading it requires you to lose the bead on your target.

It already has for the most part, most of the AK type rifles on the market are Chinese knock offs of the AKM. Well that is if you meant the original AK-47. The real originals are actually somewhat rare.

Mini conveyor belt, gotta have that thumbhole stock.

This is actually more realistic. It’s very unlikely that military forces will move away from AR/AK pattern rifles for several hundred years.

I loved the sound the helghan rifles made

>Those bullets

I always assumed that they used caseless rounds or something to justify the weird magazine.

Does anyone have that borderlands 2 gun where the barrel arches you and down and then turns into a minigun

there's clearly a hexagonal scope so settle down ok?

Wood furniture on any of the M16 alike patterns make them objectively alright. Though I dislike the actual rifle immensely and hate the fact its still in use by our military.

Both of these guns are fucking retarded, but at least the former makes a really cool sound and has some sights. The Morita has no place in any combat scenario

fallout 3 shotgun

My favorite part is the fact the emitter is pointed directly at an obstruction.

this isn't that bad though. its from a game that makes it obvious its not trying to be realistic unlike CoD or fallout, and its a futuristic energy weapon. Looks pretty good imo, and obviously based on the carbine from halo. the only issue is the mag placement is really dumb. They should've made the top part with the sight slide forward or the back part on top of the stock slide backwards to reload instead.

You know damn well that if they did do an HD remaster it would be butchered by microtransactions and other bullshit. Better to keep those happy memories unspoiled user

Fuck, you're right but, fuck, at least they can't monetize my memories

for a few years there it felt like every other "futuristic" gun had to be designed with 45 degree angles all over the place and high contrast color schemes. District 9 came out around the same time I think and I recall thinking the alien guns in that movie looked like they were ripped straight out of Mass Effect 2.

Attached: me2guns.jpg (1085x736, 134K)

There is literally nothing wrong with the M16.

I just hope some other company makes a similar experience, lifting the concept and just zuzzing it up with modern graphics and sensibilities. you can even keep it alive in the business sense with expansion packs like bf2142 did, the northern winter map/weapon pack thing that was fuckin great is a good example of paid content that was worth a shit.

I still adore the firing sound used by the collector's rifle.

In their defense most of the guns look fine, it's rare that you get one that's really retarded looking. Guns are generated from a pool of parts that includes all made by every manufacturer, so when you get a gun composed totally of one company's parts it looks okay, and it gets worse when they mix and match.

I want to know if they ever explained the computer parts, particularly what looks like an external harddrive with analogue video cables plugged into it. Like maybe the cpu can calculate something that lessens recoil in the moment and its okay because its a homemade attachment that doesn't do enough work to overheat or some shit but I can't even come up with any bullshit for the thing on the butt.
...but I also don't want to dig for the explanation so if anyone knows..?

Just build in a generator, so you can charge the gun as you cock it.

Attached: 1531044030268.jpg (419x416, 24K)

I got it,
the hillbilly who rigged it made sure it could be inserted with nearly any type of battery ammo regardless of voltage or other aspects...
the harddrive has information on various battery types downloaded from in some unique database, its size is necessary because of how many options it has
to access this data the simplest method is rigging it with other computer parts running unix, these don't get very hot because it doesn't do much other then identifying ammo types
the video cables jerry rigged into the hd is a bit of a hack for efficiency in the given database that as far as you need to know just works according to the internet guid you got the design from
There you go.

Correct me if I'm wrong but according to Fallout lore wasnt the whole point of power armor to use and operate heavy weaponry and leave the small arms to regular infantry?

What if the soldier has been using it for 50,000 hours and forgot to charge it last night? Johnson sounds like the type of guy to do that because this things will last for eternity

Futuristic batteries are expected to last much longer than that. Also, what is gun maintenance to you? Gun owners should maintain their weapons regularly. Sounds like Johnson is some village idiot that doesn't know anything about guns.

Thank you for getting the point of my post.

It's funny how in fallout 4 you can see gore and shit (not shit, no one has to take a dump ever, it's forbidden in video games) but guns cannot be real so no one can replicate them.

>Why don't customers like future warfare games?
>what is it about ww2 they like so much??

You'll never get anywhere in the gaming industry thinking like that!

Attached: images (6).jpg (672x456, 35K)

I know a few 3d artists and whenever they show me some new upload on artstation I make sure to point out all the technical and functional flaws.
Their comebacks are typically 'but it looks good' or 'but it's art, it doesn't need to be realistic', but I tell them a good looking design is still useless if it doesn't fucking work and then they get mad and tell me that I couldn't do an asset like that if I tried.

>mfw I tell them I could easily do it and they get even more triggered

Attached: 309.png (600x400, 124K)

Johnson simply pulls out a sidearm. And if he forgot to check on the batteries of that one. Then he uses a bolt-action because that's the only thing he's competent in using.

They're right though, the vast majority of people don't know how the fuck guns work, why waste time making a 3D render of something functional when you could make something aesthetically pleasing

I like it

Attached: Sws_motorized_pulse_rifle.png (1920x1080, 3.57M)

That's why the future needs to be bolt action sidearms, noise and concussion be damned

Attached: 9abcfriyqohz.jpg (800x347, 61K)

why not rise to the challenge of making something aesthetic and functional?

Is there any game with weapons, futuristic or otherwise, that use multi ammo types?
For example gauss rifles requiring both projectile and energy source, or a gas cartridge based arrow shooter, requiring the cartridge to be reloaded after approx. 10 to 20 shots. I wanted that shit eversince i saw BethOuts Gauss rifle (not the portable conveyor belt from FO4) where the gun clearly has a magazine, yet the only thing we reload is the battery

>cloth on gun
they really went full actual graphics

Dumb people shouldn't be given a single consideration

Why would you require two magazines instead of say, having a 10 round magazine that has a built in 10 charge battery?

Noplz.... Bolt-action is old-tech... before the WW1... But it works...

And if he doesn't have any arms

>When the gun used for riot suppression is also the standard issue military rifle

Attached: dead space 2.png (924x1516, 800K)

And screeching autists should?

Basically you just want to make a flat rectangle with a trigger. Bonus points if there's some sort of cylindrical mechanism built into the side of the gun that rotates and goes VVVRRRRRRRRRRRRRR, maybe it ejects and vents heat.

Attached: railgun.jpg (1097x728, 111K)

The closest that I can think of is the Tikhar and Helsing in Metro that you need to reload with ball bearings or darts and then manually pump to rebuild pressure after firing because they're pneumatic.

They go to the oven

The only big problem with bullpups is case ejection, which some real guns already account for.
You could also, you know, train your soldiers to shoot with the right hand, because it really doesn't fucking matter at all what your "dominant" hand is, you can still learn to use the other for specific tasks; and if you don't believe me, please show me the fabled musician who plays his instruments flipped.
Any further innovation you want in your futuristic guns? you'll have to look at internal parts and, mainly, the rounds themselves (bullet, propellant, primer, etc). Take a good look at pic related, the only reason all the new technologies (cold war era) implemented in this meme aren't widespread is because of a minor chemical setback.
Unless you're in the far-future, then yeah, laser and kinetic weapons become an option.

NEW FUTURE SOLDIER CONCEPT
OBREZ ONLY

If Johnson didnt have any arms. God knows why Sarge has been punished for having a nugget as a battle companion.

Because good design is both functional and aesthetic, with the beauty often being a result of the functionality.
Sure, you can slap random gun parts together, add a bunch of wires and pipes and all sort of attachments, and it will look good to normies when the 3d art is good quality. I don't deny that.
But imo it would look even better if the design could actually work and not fall apart at the slightest bit of scrutiny. It would even be helpful for their careers to be able to design functional stuff, because it would differentiate them from the masses of shit artists who can't.
'it looks good' should never be allowed to explain why a design looks the way it looks.

thanks!

You're not supposed to molest nuggets, Sarge. We have a doe for that.

That gun in pic related is probably the most complicated small-arms gun in history. idc about guns being lefty or righty since there are guns that can eject the shells downwards, and the technology can be applied to futuristic ballpups. As for the projectiles shot, I'd say electronic-based projectiles. I really like the Typhoon from Crysis 3.

Have you heard of a Minigun? It goes through lots of bullets really really fast, but needs an electrical energy source to fire. Are you going to redesign a belt of 7.62 NATO to have a 12volt battery inside, or are you going to have your battery and your ammo separate?

>here's your bug weapon, bro!

Attached: warframe-infested-shotgun.jpg (1200x524, 89K)

No.. Have you seen the internals of a G11?

The an94 is also very complex, yes. Def not as complex as the g11, but still.

Yeah...

>nearly any type of battery ammo regardless of voltage or other aspects
That's not how electricity works, you'd need a whole regulator for that, and here's a hint: the more sources you want to work with, the bigger your regulator needs to be, and no, using more efficient materials doesn't reduce the solid dimensions.
/thread
It's not THAT complicated, and could be made simpler (and better) with current technology, and the advantages probably make up for it.

Companies that produce things should ideally concentrate on producing high-quality products instead of playing psychological chess with their customers at the behest of the marketing department so they can shave off more profit to satisfy in-house financial analysts.

It's all about hard surface and greebling. They're both great tools, but so overused by so many designers and modelers that it's insane. It's made doubly bad by the fact that most devs are apparently hyper liberal and are afraid they'll get PTSD from looking at firearm references for more than 10 seconds. If they would they'd realize there's only 2 pins in an AR binding the upper and lower. The rest is for the trigger group, the safety, and the mag release. Looking at your image there's 2 dozen fasteners to hold on fucking sheet metal shrouds.

Is it a scoped bayonet or a bayoneted scope

It's like a worse version of a seburo

Attached: 1551401878718.jpg (1280x720, 114K)

The G11 is only more complex in design, but mechanically is much less complex. The AN-94 has more moving parts, probably more total parts, and is retardedly complex. There's even a fucking pulley system in there. The G11's system was extremely streamlined in the way it accomplishes its goals. The AN-94 was basically vodka engineering that barely even reached its goal by accident and with way too much effort.

Attached: fuckingretarded.png (800x838, 706K)

It took this long

Yes.

Well that and to phase out tanks.

Left vs right handedness with respect to guns has more to do with which eye is dominant than anything your hands do.

>It's made doubly bad by the fact that most devs are apparently hyper liberal and are afraid they'll get PTSD from looking at firearm references
of course they look at real firearms for references dumbass, all artists look at references

p90 is already a bullpup

they patched it very quickly

MGSV has a weapon customization feature that, early on, had a bug which allowed you to combine weapon parts which didn't exactly make sense. For example, a silenced frag grenade which enemies couldn't hear explode.

I didn't say they don't look at them faggot, but I did say they're afraid of firearms and their culture which is super evident looking at most of the shit in this thread. Tons of game guns have impossible actions for example, where the mag placement is in the butt of the gun but the action is 12 inches away. Or rifles with what are apparently 4" barrels. Magazines that feed into thumbholes.

that's not how it works when you have a job, you don't have time to get intimately familar with everything you're doing, you're just trying to make something that looks cool
not that I'm defending the dumbass designs they come up with, I'm just saying it doesn't have anything to do with any political bias, nobody who is making shooter games is 'afraid of guns'

does anyone have those guns saved that an user 3D modeled? One of them was basically just a rectangular prism with a curve near one end

Never played the game but could it be caseless ammo?

I think the problem is "rule of cool". If you sit down and hash out several different lines or families of plausible service firearms made with basic engineering principles and military/law enforcement use in mind you'll get told the guns look "Boring and generic" by your creative/art director and that you should go make them look "more futuristic and diverse" which results in the nonsense ITT.

I disagree. g11 is more complex (it rotates the caseless ammo at 2000 rpm) but german vs vodka engineering means its a much nicer, less slapdash package so it appears less complex. There is a reason that the internals of the g11 are not even designed to be taken apart by anyone other than the manufacturer.

As long as humans have weak flesh bodies ak's will be relevant

I always hated this thing, could never kill anybody with it but would always die after touching a glob someone laid down right on a teleporter exit, made me butthurt.

>not modelling from the ground up using a blowup
What the fuck is wrong with people. It's all smoke and mirrors, I get it, a game ready model will never ship with a full action and trigger group, it's too intensive and wholly inefficient, but it's also absurd to load your game full of stupid nonsensical bullshit. Everyone should feel obliged to look into the engineering details.

Weapons, historically, have usually been designed with 3 features in mind. Fewest number of (moving especially) parts, ease of disassembly for field cleaning, and safety. Overall these create an efficient and functional weapon that is less prone to jamming and malfunctions.

All that greebling, all the hard surface features, the spinning bits, the odd triggers and strange magazines go against those very pragmatic constraints which creates unrealistic weapons.

Rotating something at high RPM from gas operation is not more complex than having a gun that's simultaneously recoil and gas operated.
The G11 just operates like the wheels of a steam locomotive plus a plunger to feed and is pretty easy to understand, and really not too hard to design once you've paved the way. The complexity of the design is just shrinking it down that much and making it compact and very user friendly. The AN-94 makes no sense being some weird two operation gun with a half feed system requiring multiple different systems just to work. I've watched multiple videos on the AN-94 and its system is still absolute nonsense to me. I don't think any amount of german engineering can fix that gun the way it was designed.

Realistic shit can look dope too. Here's an example of a WWI gun that looks LIT.

the whole concept of rifle grenades is so embarrassing i can't believe people stuck with it for decades
why can't you just hand a dedicated grenade launcher to every squad
even underslung, removable launchers are a huge hassle

He's right, the G11 is just a hollow plastic brick with a watch that moves backwards when it's fired, but doesn't come to a stop until 3 rounds have already left the barrel, and the AN94 has the same buffer system, but with 2 rounds instead of 3

Bull pups are pretty great. Especially the Steyr AUG.

that's litterally just the assault rifle from Halo mashed up with the p90

Well the point of the AN-94 was to fire two projectiles so fast that the second round was fired before the effect of the recoil from the first round has the chance to effect the shooter. I imagine it takes some kind of Russian space magic to actually get that working, hence the complexity.

Not less than any other franchise with their super duper ultimate guns.

Why are so many future sidearms so huge and bulky when those wouldn't normally be qualities you'd want in a sidearm in the first place?

Fallout 3 was kinda meh,but atleast the weapons looked cool most of the time, how did they screw up so much in 4?

Plausibility isn't the issue. The issue is a metal pipe could shoot space marine seeking instagib bullets if they orks thought they did. It's no longer cool mad max style juryrigged scrap weapons and tech, and now is just a deus ex machina that is only limited because orks are dumb.

If that's true, that's much better.

>giant, unwieldy brick of a pistol
>calibre: 9mm

They spent too much time designing the admittedly very good robots and power armor.

Using gun names usually means you have to buy the license to do so. Also the target audience of CoD is edgy high schoolers, so names like "prowler" is perfect.

Their old concept artist died and the new guy had different priorities I guess. Though that dumbass not-Lewis gun assault rifile was originally called the Machine Gun and the Fallout 3 G3 assault rifle was going to be in the game, but they took it out because they "had too many guns already" or some backwards nonsense.

>a metal pipe could shoot space marine seeking instagib bullets if they orks thought they did
thats not how it works

It's not really vidya, but a long time ago I watched this anime called Kiddy Grade, where the protagonists switched out their future laser pistols for a COP .357 derringer and another modern pistol, I forget the exact make. I remember the derringer because the COP .357 is really distinct. I never understood why they did that, but I honestly appreciate it now.

The only guns in 3 that looked good were the ones based on real weapons. The R91 was just a CETME, the 10mm pistol had the back end of a Desert Eagle with a blocky front end, etc. In 4, you have the comically oversized 10mm pistol, ugly as sin pipe guns, the combat rifle, chambered in .45ACP, and combat shotgun looking exactly the same, the hideous and useless Institute lasers, I could go on.
Those were the only good designs in 4.

no they can shoot 24 inches

it's always been like that, you were taking it too literally
"it works because we believe it works" isn't the same as "whatever we believe happens"

I'll play devil's advocate for a second to say that it's likely these modelers are told to make new guns every time, so specially in more realistic settings, these people are asked to reinvent all these designs, meaning that they either go for technical accuracy, and they're fired because their designs look all the same, or they say fuck it, and do stupid shit that wouldn't work in real life under the rule of cool.

I like that they replaced modern detachable box magazines with high capacity assault cassettes.

It's always fucking Detroit

And lets not forget, having too many circuits on your anything literally invites deamons ready to posses it and fuck up your day.

Futuristic looking revolvers or "hand cannons" are one of the few things I enjoy when it comes to weaponry in these games.

>but mechanically is much less complex
You're a fucking retard. Just because it's a one single piece (which is I agree, incredibly impressive) doesn't mean it's less complex.
If something happens that can't be fixed by a wind-up, you replace entire magic clock-work thingy inna field with a spare. And if that one also borks, you just die. Because if you have this rifle your only objective is to shit out as much lead as possible. It's literally the ideology behind its design.
And what is it so hard to understand in "fire 2 rounds with recoil of 1"?

Uh, no poptarts. There, it's shit.

If a metal box that is filled with loose bolts and scrap metal can shoot projectiles that are "are no less effective than other, more advanced side arms" because they think it can, why couldn't a bigger box filled with loose bolts shoot nukes if they think it could?

aircraft and cruise missiles render large scale ground warfare irrelevant
tanks are basically obselete in the 21st century

I've seen videos of people hammering bullets and they shoot as as expected, no reason why that wouldn't

But those weapons can't crank lasers into a glass jar and then shoot it all at once.

I love it

That was a shit film

guided bombs ARE artillery, aircraft are just a means of propelling them even further
dumb anti-aircraft guns didn't even work in WW2 let alone now
warfare is fought at a range longer than anyone can see these days
infantry are only there to capture the objective

Did you say... RAILGUN ?

The SCAR has been growing on me lately.

They are always rather shit in games with this one being one of the few good ones but I just fucking love lever action rifles.

Why is the Acog on the HK416 so far forward from the mounting point?

>Talking about looks
>Slavfags start shouting about efficiency
Yes we all know the AK is very reliable and very widespread. Don't you have a nightly jerk off over the nugget to go do?

>here's your future gun bro

Why the fuck did murka ever even go with the fucking ar pattern anything when they already had an FN factory making them MG's domestically inside the continental us, AND the FNC fucking exists?

>uses standard "laserbox"

It's like it was made retarded on purpose. Oh wait, it actually was.

Thanks, I love it. Shame about ammo count tho.

Pipe guns were in fallout 2.
I don't have a problem with them because of that

>why did a country want its service rifle to be domestically designed and produced

there was 1 pipe gun
in fo4 over half the gun variants are pipe guns, literally

Heres your Answer. . .

Is that that thing from Psycho Pass?

>rule of cool
>problem
Only /k/ autists get triggered by guns that aren't designed as realistic as possible. Everybody else just likes cool. Why cater to the few?

That's where a mounting point must be placed, and you need place to put your eye before the Acog.

Because you can have cool looking guns that are also believable. A lot of these designs are like having a fictional car in a game has wheels on its roof.

Crysis did them right. There's rule of cool, and there's the over-saturated version that too much.

>search for Warframe weps
>2/4 of them are laser weapons so it doesn't matter how they're shaped

I'm a little disappointed in y'all. Hell, half the weapons don't even have triggers or visible magazines for how much they can actually shoot.

Attached: FixedPrimeBoar.png (373x143, 80K)

Because FN was shit at making assault rifles until the end of the Cold War.
>inb4 muh FAL
We didn't want a battle rifle, and if we did we had no shortage of M14s lying around.

warframe is fucking gay thats why

Not even a slav fag, just a western european who got up early. Also, in guerilla, efficiency is everything and we don't care about looks.

I see what you did there.

Just because you can't take it apart fully in the field doesn't make it less complex either. Like I said in the next post, it's literally just a steam locomotive's wheel. The AN-94 is vastly more complex mechanically. Good luck carrying spares for each individual part for that gun, or even taking it apart without spilling parts everywhere.

Where is the prozessor or the RAM?

>Western European
>Guerrilla
Vete a dormir Federico

Good thing that they mostly fight for objectives and the actual large battles are fought with help from tanks, aircraft and orbital bombardment.

Needs more pointless creases and patterns.

The weebs at SilencerCo liked the design a little too much

Attached: IMG_4271[1].jpg (800x600, 218K)

Because we only adopted the M240 and M249 (our first FN weapons) in the mid 80s, long after the AR pattern was firmly established.
>Because FN was shit at making assault rifles until the end of the Cold War.
Shit at? They never even tried until the early 80s.
>We didn't want a battle rifle, and if we did we had no shortage of M14s lying around.
Uh yeah we did, that's literally why we adopted the m14. To edge out the T48 (FAL), which was a foreign design winning our trials, which made nationalist faggots butthurt.

>tanks are basically obselete in the 21st century
Please do go and spout your bullshit on /k/, i want a good laugh.

That post had nothing to do with FEAR. Also you're wrong.

>They never even tried until the early 80s.
You never heard of the FN CAL? Thing was a piece of shit whose use was relegated to a few uppity former colonies.
>that's literally why we adopted the m14
I was referring to the whole ordeal regarding the M16's adoption in the 60s, not the trials to replace the M1.
>which was a foreign design winning our trials
It was mechanically more complex, heavy and the gas system was deemed inferior to the M14's. We didn't just reject it because it was a Belgian design.

To be fair, large square barrel shrouds/fronts are cool looking as fuck.

The most generic weapon design possible, holy shit that's boring.

Just eject out the bottom or the front.

No, he's confused by the gooseneck mount for the ACOG. That's the ACOG mount that the UK MOD uses on the L85 after they ditched the SUSAT sight. Weird to use it on an HK 416, but some guys who use gas masks use high mounts like this to get a cheek weld (or jaw weld, as it may be).

I have 0 knowledge of gun designs and guns in general since I'm not murrican and they're illegal here.
However, a lot of the more 'advanced tech' guns IRL look like absolutele plastic crap to me. However, a trained soldier could probably tell what all the bits are for and why it looks like a fucking toy. I always assume it's the same with 'futuristic' weapons. Gun-nuts think it's retarded design, but that's because they know nothing of the 'future tech' that might be completely rational. They're as retarded in regards to future guns as I am to current day guns.

The difference being that all these 'future guns' were designed by people today who just don't know anything about guns.

Or, you just don't understand the tech behind it. Maybe the guns are intricately designed by actual weapon experts to reflect a future where things are different. You'd probably shit on it anyway. Because that's how the internet works.

it was entertaining but the plot sucked, and matt damon sucked. I liked sharlto copley's over the top character

For example; and >lel that's retarded, the magazine doesn't feed into the chamber
>actually it's a battery and doesn't need to feed into the chamber
>...

Pretty much how these threads always go.

Never attribute to malice, etc. It's Bethesda, user.

>Or, you just don't understand the tech behind it
You really think the retards who shat out things like Fallout 3's combat shotgun were really thinking of some advanced tech to justify its design? No, they made them to look cool and don't give a shit about how they would actually function because none of them have ever even seen a gun in real life.

Okay user. What about; ?

Attached: 1511497453518.jpg (206x302, 7K)

I didn't make those posts and I've seen this argument a hundred times in threads like this already, I already knew that was a battery.

Attached: 1233413444122.jpg (1600x1200, 387K)

>one person mistakenly shits on an energy weapon
>Pretty much how these threads always go
Guns are designed to be as simple and straightforward as mechanically possible. If a gun has some sort of magical elevator that can feed rounds from one end to the other because of magical tech that exists nowhere else, or have rounds/mechanisms phase through solid material to be fired, then the design is still fucking retarded when you can use that tech to do more effective and efficient stuff.

Why post Trudeau's father?

Yeah, the same dude that worked on Elysium worked on Infinite Warfare as well.
