I can't imagine caring about arena still. IS obviously doesn't, and it's never been fun to do. The only big benefit is now you have to do less matches for the weekly streak and it gives out prizes.

It really is considering how absolutely nothing a character she is.

And I have no idea who any of those characters are. Were they playable?

The opening movie/promo art is either a huge mislead or will happen later in the story. What ended up happening was Hel(grim reaper lady) placed a curse on Alfonse that he would die in 9 days, and when the 9 days were up and she came to take him their dad took the blow for him and he died instead. So only Alfonse, Sharena, and their mom are alive. Alfonse should technically be king now but that's another thing.

The most annoying thing is that they're limited to only doing story chapters when a non seasonal banner shows up and they only ever give story on the 1st and 5th part, instead of giving us big chunks of story.

It's still stupid shit with no substance but now it doesn't even have the excuse of trying to write FE characters into every chapter anymore. Their presence in chapters literally just amounts to saying hi before you beat them up with no further acknowledgement.
