One Piece has a pretty good track record for games. It's just a bad coincidence that the least competent (Burning Blood and Red) were along the last three released.

Luffy literally moves around like he's Leon in re4. if you don't get the main characters movement right the whole game is going to fall apart.

I've been watching people play this all day on Twitch and honestly, it look pretty alright. Seems like it can get pretty Dark Souls-y on the highest difficulty setting so their is some challenge to it.
Haven't seen anyone beat it yet so I'm unsure what its story length is. loads of side quests though. Combat is no DMC level,but its competent.

Bamco just needs to stop contracting hack companies to make the games. Dragon Ball FighterZ may not be anywhere near the best game list, but its still a hell of a lot more competent than the anime games that have been coming out because ArcSys actually cares about making a quality product.

They modeled an open world but for the sole purpose of having missions be further away from each other. There is nothing in the world, it's completely empty. There isn't even NPCs in the giant cities.

The setting is one of the biggest problems with the game. It looks like a generic jrpg world which is a shame since One Piece is known for it's locations.

stealth is a big part of the gameplay. They do the whole asscreed thing of sneaking around and performing silent assassinations. To top it off, there are "trailing an enemy undetected" missions too.

Besides the shitty stealth parts that they want you to believe Luffy would do. The whole world looks like it was made for a different game they made and stopped and just used everything and slapped One Piece on top. You see some One Piece things like Marine towers and such but everything I seen from trailers just looks out of place.
