Solar Ash Kingdom Announced as Epic Store Exclusive
Who?
Nice, another one gets torrented
Halo gets announced as an Epic Store EXCLUsion
>we want the zoe quinn audience
epic just keeps getting sadder and sadder
Rise up gamers, we need to beat epic XD
>rise up and fight against the steam monopoly everyone!
>*moneyhats games and makes themselves sole supplier of them*
>*bribes ubi to pull division 2 from all third party stores*
what did epic by mean by this?
Indiedevs are now Zoe quinn?
Hyper Light Drifter dev

Not surprised at all. They're super in Epic's pocket
Another dev bites the dust. I hope the temporary financial gain was worth it.
Who?
WINNIE
Reminder that Nintendo is actively trying to kill piracy, therefore being an Epic Store ally
my god what a big loss (?????)
its ogre, fellow steambrothers. we lost.
apparently shes the "narrative director" for this
I get what you're trying to do, but I answered your question already. Rest is up to you.
The fuck is a narrative director? They just make up any job to allow their friends to sit around their play place studio?
While I don't care about this game I wonder if Epic understands that this doesn't make me want to download it. All it does is make me personally hate them for trying to lock down games to their platform.
Works for government and public institutions
Nobody gives a shit.
and now my interest in this game has vanished. Shame.
Cope
>indie shit that nobody cares
Good for them.
I had never once heard of this game before this thread. I couldn't give less of a shit about it. I wonder how much Epic pays for this trash.
what do I have to cope about?
Literally who?
Ignore the bait.
>all the western pixelshit indie shits are going to epic now because of bribery
>HENTAI JIGSAW PUZZLE 24 is still on Steam because Tencent devs are the ones shitting this trash out onto Steam
At least there's less pretentious indie shit, i guess.
That you womt play it on steam so you make asinine complaints
Is Nintendo ba monopoly?
I wonder how long Epic and Tencent can keep it up. As deep as Tencent's pockets are, eventually they will realize they are not getting any returns.
Maybe you are the one coping with the fact that we don't actually want to play that game or couldn't care less about it
I don't think they care about Yea Forums's thoughts on their platform, honestly.
It's just a year long exclusive. I got plenty of other shit to play. This isn't a system seller.
>qbitorrent exclusive
based
>I hope the temporary financial gain was worth it.
By the time the exclusivity deal money runs out, everyone will have forgotten about this and they will be ready to shit out another game in whatever state the industry finds itself years from now.
They literally have nothing to lose. Instead of selling like shit and earning no money on Steam/GoG/etc, their game will now sell like shit but with guaranteed money from the contract. Expect more indies to follow suit this year.
>Reveal trailer
>Commentaries are noting but Nintendo Switch begging
Ahahahahahaha
Yet you came into a thread about a game you don't care about
This. Every single indie developer (and some AA and AAA ones) will go to the Epic store for that sweet exclusive rights money. Maybe releasing one year later on Steam for maximum greed.
>It's just a year long exclusive
Is it I thought this was a complete exclusive
What is this game, Chang?
why would anyone even do that?
>implying people who are bored enough to spend time here dont do exactly that most of their bored time
Unless their strategy pays for them and they not only get a library that rivals Steam but also seduce big developers like Capcom or From Software.
The problem is, as long as they have Fornite money they can allow themselves to do this for a long, long time until it works.
>why would anyone even do that?
dunno, big upfront payment I guess. Since Epic Store was the only logo in the trailer I assumed it was more than a timed exclusive
