So, player density … specifically, from population. So many great games are available and much more innovative than the prevalently played experiences. The importance of fresh designs *with such an early industry* is a). made obvious by how popular such simple "new" genres are – e.g., BR, and b). further established in how many contrasts are found amongst multiple games.
"*Fresh*, innovative, rewarding games are fun"; understanding what's great about certain aspects of gaming is where optimizing "times and enjoyments" is.
For example, ARK – Survival Crafting – is phenomenal for some depth and lots of variety. Depth usually comes from variety – "the options within various moments". Having "DayZ but with quick terrestrial and aerial options, more accessibility to – and storage of – equipment (which is of strategic planning, placement, and other aspects of basing, resourcing, and logistics), and cross-servers, for a character amongst that of thousands" is really exciting.
Post examples of gaming potential, especially amongst great mastery / competence, freedom of options / autonomy, and social relevance (e.g,. roles and economy). … Playing with Yea Forums is where a lot of the potential is. Multiplayer is basically "SP (of similar features) but more creative, challenging, and intense".
okay, you want to be an inane bitch and make me spell it out for you, FINE.
open pvp survival games like ark/rust/conan exiles/whatever are inherently shit (at least the MP aspects are, conan has some decent SP) BECAUSE the pvp is completely unrestricted and open at all times. given how extreme the negativity bias is in games, being ambushed by some cunt with max gear or a fuckin sniper rifle across the entire map while you are naked with a rock feels way worse than any sense of accomplishment you could get from getting anything done in those games.
this expression of how ultimately faggot human nature truly is - namely that people will INSTANTLY turn on each other for the smallest gain, and often for none at all, just to be a cunt, is what overshadows every single potentially good thing about the game.
now as i said earlier some of these games like conan or space engineers have good single player elements, to extend these examples, conan has an actual fucking storyline and main plot that you can progress through and spengies is about autism building which in and of itself can be rewarding.
but when played online with other people, which is how these games are "supposed" to be played, it's all ruined by the inborn dickishness of humans.
that detailed enough for you, nigger? also inb4 some fag goes >reddit spacing

The "bias" is positive in games because it's possible being strategic and skillful.
E.g., Arma: WL, where players are started with some money, maybe a pistol – and other weapons are found in vehicles within cities … or in often-respawning scenarios, such as NPCs with a helicopter landing, out of gas; or tanks needing repairs "to treads"; or bases with NPCs guarding its pieces, and crates of ammo and guns. Stores are also available for purchasing things such as weapons. … It's really fun finding a thermal sniper and proning on a hillside above a scenario and potentially getting both it and some dude's items and vehicle.
Yet Survival Crafting has so much more. It's the strategy of simple arena games – because it's possible setting up arenas; … the potential intensity of multiple players meeting up and chatting their plans, and watching them with yours ready for instigating and potentially getting items, blueprints, and creatures.
The *bests* of potential outcomes are positive because all the players coming together, farming the lands and waters, and both having and forcing the rules of scheduled PvP is where the most efficiency and fun is. That's "alpha".
>bias is positive plain wrong. google negativity bias, its an inherent trait in humans.
Brandon Mitchell
You're appealing to authority.
Only having positive experiences eliminates negativity bias unto "GF"s, entertainment, and riches.
Jaxon Lewis
A. you can make the 'appeal to authority' argument ad infinitum. at some point you have to accept that there is an authority on the matter, and in this case it's what we know about the psyche of humans. the negativity bias is well known and documented, quit being a faggot. B. there is no such thing as only positive experiences with no negatives.
Bentley Reyes
Evidence assertions. ()
The "only positive experiences" was already mentioned. The methodology is simple – groups reinforcing togetherness unto eventual controlled-PvP.
