The guy split himself in too, huge power gap between the two halves and when they rejoined things probably got changed in the after math.
I really want them to give Vergil unique missions and some new weapons/etc. If he's just a retread of the base game's missions it'll be boring. It'll take a lot more time and effort and probably cost slightly more but it'd be worth it. Same with any other characters they add like Lady/Trish/Nico/Lucia/etc. Hell they could add new missions for Nero/V/Dante as well. Go nuts. If the DLC is made up of high quality and reasonably priced expansions I'd buy them all.
Some other new modes like Legendary Dark Knight and a boss rush would be nice too. And of course turbo mode, hopefully that's already in the works.

I don't expect Turbo Mode and LDK, there's a reason only the PC version of DMC4 had those additions - consoles simply can't keep up with it
I expect DMC5:SE to be a next generation launch title, probably with a better online system, Vergil, turbo mode, LDK, all that stuff

I never though about this, but this happens alot. What causes this effect of don't being afraid of big bosses but being afraid of normal sized bosses?

Its probably because most oversized bosses are slow or have obvious telegraphed attacks making the easy to predict. The humanoid type bosses are more like fighting a mirror version of yourself where they probably have all the moves you do.

BP with Vergil is basically confirmed at this point with all that have been datamined, the Ladies Night DLC sounds credible, though i find hard to believe that Lucia was referenced on it, though i would love it, they wouldn't go to all the trouble to scan somebody and do the animations and recreate the moves just to have Lucia playable
