I said DQ XI because I'm downloading it to play as well, I've heard the story gets good when you finish the first part/reach a certain point or something. It seems to be worth playing at least, you know what you're getting into with a DQ game usually.

Well, Trails in the Sky was the first JRPG I played and completed so I don't have much knowledge over the genre. I really enjoyed the combat system, as in, it was somewhat engaging/It didn't make me want to quit like most JRPGs I've tried and failed to play through have in the past!

Maybe I should just go through the JRPG titles considered "classics" and go from there. . .
