First of all, I would embark on a bunch of gathering expeditions getting basic supply loop going on. With some Zenny saved basic equipment and some low level crap should be doable. Eventually I'd pick up tinkering and use my hammer for more than just bashing monsters. Perhaps introducing some modern way of technology to Hunter outfitting. This should net pretty penny to ultimately allow me to post quests that would have hunters take me along to hunt monsters (fated 4 included) as part of equipment trial runs. And ultimately i'd be able to return but refuse to because somewhere along the line we have fallen in love with a guild gal. This is my Isekai.

You can obviously just run the training missions over and over until you can effectively wield a weapon. I think besides great sword and gunlance you shouldnt have a problem with most weapons if you train. Bug stick is obviously the outlier of the weapons as unusable.

Well if you sever the trunk she'll bleed to death pretty quick. Just chase her around until she exhausts (animals don't sweat so they can't really do much for long) and then kill her while she's weak.

This, humans' "superpower" is unyielding endurance, we used to hunt animals by just following them until they collapsed in exhaustion.

You're fucked if the monster is in hyper mode though.

Assuming that most game mechanics still apply such as party size limits and gear bonuses, then yeah, it should be possible. it will take a couple of months, but we can do it.

And throwing shit, but boomerangs do like 1 damage so that's probably out. If the monsters weren't so fucking agressive you could probably chase them off a cliff too.

They do, quest descriptions all the time have shit about people dying to monsters and to get revenge and often times npcs mention getting fucked up by monsters and are unable to continue to hunt due to their injuries. Your hunters just get extraordinarily lucky and avoids major injuries when fighting.

The monster probably wont run away from you unless you actually fight it enough, and even then they just sleep. You also only have 50 minutes to complete a quest before its failed. Hyper isnt a problem tho, all of the fated four can be reached before you need to fight a hyper

If I stick with something light, like DBs, SnS or LBG, there could be a small chance. Realistically, if we were trapped with our current strength limit, body build, etc, we would stand no chance whatsoever.

Bherna has its own villagers that operate the forges and shops at the actual town, but it is a tourist town operating out of the Wycademy, and the hub shops and forges are managed by unfortunate researchers who got stuck with the job. The blacksmith forces himself to smile as he curses you under his breath. As a junior researcher, don't be surprised if this is your fate for a couple months until you can make some headway into your research and get authorization to pass the job off to another poor soul.

I've tried using high air-pressure guns in real life as part of workshop. Recoil is a bitch so no fuck-off crossbows/guns for me. Trying to use shields as intended will break my arms let alone big ass swords. My only hope for decent weapons that isn't just something like tossing bombs for days are finding small enough swords to dual wield.

On the other hand given time and necessity I might actually bulk up a bit.
