When you can literally double the money you make when publishing on all platforms, it is just dumb of Nintendo not releasing their games AT ONCE.
I believe that Nintendo would enjoy a terrific PR if they just released their games on PC as well.
When there is saturation of their videogames and games, they should migrate to an unsaturated market such as PC. For instance, release a game on the Switch, wait about 3 or 4 years and then release them on PC.
Mario kart wii multiplayer on steam would be pretty sick. I'd buy it in a heartbeat.
Austin Harris
Nintendo consoles live and die thanks to their exclusives, so the chances of these showing up in a pc is zero. If you really don't wanna buy a switch for them then just emulate it. (Hell, I dare saw we have more chances of seeing Gravity Rush on PC.)
James Mitchell
the pc market is literally bigger than all consoles combined, moron. Of course I'll pirate when it isn't available to begin with.
Ryder Cooper
Microsoft is a western company though, and one that dabbles in other PC related stuff. Nintendo is probably the last of the big 3 that would do that sort of thing, not that Sony too would even consider releasing their games on PC either. Nintendo's Japanese demographic has always been the most influencial & the one that rules most of the franchises' futures, and the Japanese demographic, especially one as young as the Nintendo demographic, will probably never game on PC.
Thomas Murphy
I hope Tenchu Z comes to PC, not a lot of weeaboo fulfilling ninja games out there with character creation
Benjamin Sanchez
>sony falseflagger >the same faggot tha made a thread asking for sony to port their games to pc
i didn't expect anything else from a frogposter literally zero intelligence post
Luis Russell
I can't bring my PC outside like I can a handheld though, why do people keep pretending that handhelds don't exist? Why didn't the success of the GBA, DS or 3DS count? Why can't I just enjoy having games to play in bed? I don't want to have to sit at my computer to play literally everything
Zachary Anderson
switch isn't a handheld, nor is portability a selling point in the age where everyone has a smartphone.
Cooper Rodriguez
>switch isn't a handheld, nor is portability a selling point
>playing games on a smartphone I'm sorry, I didn't know I was in a thread full of absolute faggots
Logan Jackson
put it in your pocket.
Jordan Mitchell
multiplat games sell the least on PC
Bentley Lopez
It includes loot boxes you moron. Almost every game that is a multiplat on PC sells better else where
James Gray
You people pirate everything that's on the PC as well. Don't even try to deny all of the threads people make where they crow about how they hack and pirate all their games to stick it to the devs.
Ethan Sullivan
why not? They're lierally more powerful than nintendo hardware, and controller shells exist. Mobile is a godsend for Runescape tbqh.
Dominic Williams
Nintendo defense force on the loose, I see. Yeah, tough shit, PC still makes more money than consoles.
Isaiah Miller
Do you not have a car or a briefcase? It fits in pockets well enough anyway, its barely any bulkier than the average smartphone after you need to slap 50 cases on it so it doesn't snap into pieces in your pocket
John Lopez
I mean, you can? I'm not fat and it fits inside my front jeans pockets. Also I've never, ever put a portable console in my pockets before. That's where phones, keys and wallets go. You could even more easily put it in your jacket., but even then I've never used pockets for handheld consoles, I've always put them in my bag.
Connor White
Those are big pockets
Aiden Rodriguez
>pcfaggots begging for ports HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
James Miller
but I'm saying games sell better on consoles? The moment someone throws facts at you, you people get really defensive, really goes to show.
Blake Cox
nigger, I'm not going to buy a wiiu masquerading as a handheld, not ever.
Christian Bailey
>switch isn't a handheld, nor is portability a selling point lmao
Aaron Myers
>doesn't try to defend himself >admits it's true >hurr defense force here!" Your kind is useless.
Austin Wright
why is the pc market bigger and more lucrative?
Joseph Ross
Okay, enjoy missing out on all the great exclusives.
Kevin Garcia
I already emulated both. :^)
Eli King
I never told you to nerd, I don't give a fuck what you do with your time, if I did I'd be going crazy right now wondering how I let it get this bad.
See? The "master race" is always jerking itself off over how it steals and pirates everything, so why do they demand all companies make games only for them?
Jeremiah Robinson
>Hell, I dare saw we have more chances of seeing Gravity Rush on PC psnow
Elijah Flores
piracy isn't theft. All boards think so, as does European law.
Logan James
I wouldn't mind old nintendo games on Steam. People has been emulating shit since the 90s so I don't see a reason not to create official releases for pc.
Jaxson Hall
hope no suicidal tranny drama kills this one
Xavier Price
nintendo doesn't need to do that when they can sell pic related to nu-males instead for $60 and $80 respectively.
Honestly Nintendo needs legal enforcement. A lawsuit banning exclusives should do the trick
Jace Bennett
what is a nu-male?
Robert Evans
>if I hate siomething it's our favorite buzzwrods
Adrian Peterson
The definition changes every day, but it usually means "people who like things I hate, they make me so angry, arglebargle".
Levi Young
Just emulate bro
Jacob Peterson
>t. numale Anybody not falling into this category has original hardware.
Samuel Reyes
imagine defending nintendo for shutting down rom sites and discontinuing the virtual console, all so they can sell you an overpriced raspberry pi in a box with a handful of games on it instead.
Dominic Walker
The fact this bait thread took off and Sony one didnt just goes to show have FUCKING DUMB Nintodlers are jesus christ.
Grayson Rodriguez
Nintendo games are what sell Nintendo consoles.
Camden Fisher
sounds like a shit deal compared to emulating all nes and snes games for free.
Adam Watson
imagine putting words in someone else's mouth.
James Taylor
Sure but they would need to find a way to make money on it, maybe lock their games behind GPUs or make their own pay to use launcher to make up for the loss of hardware sales which is 99% of their profit.
Emulation is for wankers and it rarely works as good as the original console version.
Owen Nguyen
>WAAAHH WAAAHH! NINTENDO IS FOR BABYS! I ONLY PLAY MATURE GAMES FOR MATURE GAMERS SUCH AS MY SELF
>EXCEPT WHEN THEY ARE ON PC! THEN THEY ARE MATURE GAMES!
As a PC user im just gonna say: BUY A FUCKING SWITCH! AND GO SHOVE A PINEAPPLE UP YOUR ASS!
Jacob Ortiz
your mom is for wankers
Parker Nguyen
You seem to be very confused. I could very easily fill out the word limit on this post but I can't be bothered to reply to 15yo's anymore. Just 2 points.
1) PC "core gamers" are a very small % of the total PC playerbase. All you need to do is compare every single multiplat sales performance with consoles (not just the exceptions that actually sold better on PC - the fact that they are EXCEPTIONS should tell you something). If you give a shit about LoL, Fortnite, Facebook games, online Casino games, etc then yes PC is a big market. If you care about games that count then it's a smaller market than consoles.
2) You fundamentally don't understand the concept of a Platform holder. Such a thing is obvious when the first thing you think about is an increase of software sales for Nintendo if they downgraded from a Platform Holder into a Publisher. Only DYING Platform Holders go multiplat, see Microsoft with its Xbox brand. There are 10x more advantages to holding exclusives that the "disadvantage" of less potential sales doesn't make up for AT ALL.
Never. Buy the console or emulate it, always been like this and always will be like this.
Remember that Nintendo profits from hardware sales. They use this money to help fund the less popular and more risky to develop/license development of titles you see on their systems. Without it they would do nothing but mario, zelda, smash over and over again. Kiss DK, ARMS, Splatoon, Astral chain, Octopath, Tetris 99, etc... good bye if this happens.
Tough fucking shit if you want PC ports of their games
Elijah Long
>pokemon is shit and ruined by hackers, I wish they would port it to the system with cheatengine
Jaxon Kelly
>pc user >buying a switch lmao nice gaslighting
Sebastian Roberts
Nintendo will still fight it for another decade or 2. Bing bing wahoo pushes hardware sales
Jaxson Thomas
More like Pokemon. That franchise has to die before they consider ditching hardware, and that ain't happening any time soon.
Joseph Watson
How the fuck do hackers even affect Pokemon games?
Isaac Taylor
>mainline so you want garbage?
Blake Reed
Giving thier Pokemon max stats, shiny, event legendaries early, etc
Aiden Green
>They use this money to help fund the less popular and more risky to develop/license development of titles you see on their systems. correction: they used to do that. now they use it to fund more no-effort mario spinoffs and ports instead while franchises like f-zero, custom robo, advance wars, starfy, etc. stay dead.
Parker Hernandez
Nobody would buy their overpriced 10 year old hardware if they did.
Adam Martinez
>edit save data to hack in impossibly strong pokemon >since battling is 1v1 p2p connection with no server verification and the 3DS is hacked at the bootrom level, someone with enough autism could break the ASLR and figure out where in memory important values are stored, then change them
Why though why? They are making money from >selling hardware and accessories >selling exclusive games on their own platform >getting a cut of third party game on their platform Why would they give these up?
Aaron Peterson
If you want to make the switch a useless brick than yeah sure.
Joseph Diaz
They have no reason to.
People just want an easier way to pirate shit.
Joshua Ross
Microsoft deals in PC stuff, so they could shove their entire library on PC with no issue. Nintendo does nothing with PC, so they have no reason to put a title on PC.
