Gameplay's weak, doesn't evolve enough through the course of the game, characters are one dimensional and the story is forgettable af. Not the worst game in the world for 10$ but if you want an RPG why not get a good one instead ?

As I said, it's not an excellent game, and I wouldn't recommend it for anything approaching full price. But like most things on Yea Forums, rather than discussing the valid criticisms, it's always "o noes there's women and gays"

Fine. Story is boring. Characters are uninteresting. Female characters have been INTENTIONALLY made unattractive(with the exception of Morrigan for whatever reason). MMO grinding and questing. AI is idiotic. Using abilities is a pain in the ass. No healing through magic and making potions is tedious as fuck.

I have 150 hours on this game, felt like an offline mmo at some points but had a lot of fun. Can't wait for the new one with the race war against the elves

Yes for that price it is. It's an okayish wrpg, there's a lot of stuff to do if you're up for it(ie collectibles, enemies to find, fetch quests etc).

Josephine is attractive. Leliana likewise, although she isn't romanceable.

Only if you like single player MMO quest design. otherwise just get a good rpg like divinity os 2 or expeditions: viking.

Because they couldn't have gotten away with it without facing a shitstorm for the ages. They mostly left Loliana alone too though although she looks a bit anorexic compared to Origins

I need to give this game another go and play a warrior. I played like 20 hours with a mage and just had to drop it, got way too boring.

Well she is, but less so and memorable than morrigan and leliana.

Why the fuck would i pause the game if i never sweated even once the whole game? Anything is a bullet sponge waste of time anyway, you can autotarget and make yourself a coffe, by actually "playing" you'd gain 10 seconds on a 2 minute long fight

Played on hard. I avoided nightmare on purpose because it just makes everything even spongier, learned the lesson in DA2.
The only difficulty hard adds over casual is that fights last twice as much and your braindead AI can sometimes die
