Nah it's pretty free to play friendly, it just has really shit rates and give out jack shit for rolling currency. You cna beat the stuff with just free stuff you get out of the FP gatcha and the free 4 stars they hand.

You definitely can, I've been playing both at the same time for about 5 months and haven't encountered any inconveniences. The gameplay is about what you'd expect - something you do in the background while, for example, watching a video unless you're encountering especially tough enemies. Basically the same as Azur Lane in that regard, but with a slightly different flavor. Then again, who the hell even plays gacha for the gameplay?
GF is also about the only gacha with an actually good story and setting, I really really hope GF2 is going to be a real game and not gacha.

it's cheap version of civilization 5 combat where you can have some influnce on the battle itself by moving units around during combat. outside of combat, maps are rarely anyhow challenging. i can't say it's boring, but it's nothing to write home about

I only played the first because they gave that away for free. A bit too Fighting Fantasy for me but definitely one of the better CYOAs on Mobile. I mostly play Room Escape and P&C Adventure on the mobile since most Action and Platformer games play like shit, anything labeled Sim is most likely gonna turn out to be a shitty Clicker or some "Kingdom Builder", and Puzzles are bloated with half-assed match-3 and drag-and-pull Breakout clones.

OP Treasure Cruise, especially if you like One Piece. Best gameplay I've seen in mobile games. Teambuilding requires knowledge and brain, combat requires a bit of brain and quick reactions/good timing. It's also pretty generous, artstyle is nice, constant updates and more

I think rise of civilization was the best kingdom builder type game I played. But it's a real time pvp world and you'll get stomped for a while if you are new, unless you join a newer server.
Kings raid is the best 3d game I've played, it's very light on the gacha and has kept my attention for over a year now.

I have not played the other games, but Renegade is a rock solid game with a great feel to it. I will admit I have a controller for my Android stuff, so some games that would be obnoxious to play with touch controls shoot up high due to using a pad. Even so, I'd still recommend it to most people, it's really well put together.

I've been burned too many times by Bandai's mobile games. The only one I remember enjoying was the Digimon one and at the time it was JP only.

I won't bore you will too many details, but I can't lie; it really seems to depend person to person. There are a few of their games I liked that others weren't too hot on, and vise verse. But since you're asking:

-Asdivine Cross has a nice battle system and pleasant story/cast. I really liked how that game handled unique skills and the BP system, I honestly wish it'd come back.
-Fernz Gate is busted. It's way too easy and dumps TONS of options on you immediately. But it ended up having a blast with it because breaking it is so much fun. You can easily get absurd damage numbers very early on, and since the skills you use get stronger with use, you're encouraged to steamroll your way through. The story bits don't stand out, though that's standard among Kemco stuff.
-Justice Chronicles is what I'm playing through right now, though I only just started, It has really nice sprite work and sound, but the translation is really weak. Not to "All you base" levels, but not far off.The battle and customization system seems interesting, but I can't say too much about it yet.

These aren't the only games of theirs I've played mind: I dabbled to Alphadia Genesis, Dragon Sinker, Alvastia Chronicles, and have some of their other offerings on the backlog. I know enough about them to recognize various quirks of the developers under Kemco (Hit-Point are experimental, have good spritework, but have stupidly long intros. EXE-Create is the most consistent, but keeps using the same battle system and likes harems), but I won't go in to the too deep here.

Yep. I actually bought Oddworld and PC ports of mobile games like Morphite just so I could play them with proper controls. I had a GPD XD when I tried some of the more controller extensive games so they weren't an issue then, but when the thing broke, I realized I could not go back to touch controls after that.

Strangely, SHMUPs work perfectly well on touch screen. Bullet Hell Monday and Danmaku Unlimited are great on phones.

Brawlhalla does that - there's a rotation of seven or eight characters that you can play for free every week, and you unlock characters either with gold or real money.

I'm not even stretch out, the rate is so fucking bad and you need SSR characters to build your team because SSR characters has the faction buff and can one shot anything especially in high level map when you either one shot or be one shot

As far as I know, core crystals in XB2 are literal gacha and you get tons of them by buying the season pass

I mean auto farming goddess realm because you need to upgrade everything to be able to barely damaging high level enemies

I only play FEH because my wife is in it

I also play Fire Emblem Heroes and Gothic wa Mahou Otome, though I hardly touch the latter anymore. I've been thinking about trying that Bleach gacha game, Brave Souls was it? I dunno how friendly it is towards newcomers, especially this late into the game.
