Might happen, the new Fire Emblem seems to have AW mechanics.
We don't know much about 2020 (Bayonetta, SMTV, new Zelda, new 3D Mario and Pikmin maybe..) and at one point Nintendo will have to fill the calendar with other things than ports so why not use old franchises.
