No games where you're simply a Knight going on an epic quest

>No games where you're simply a Knight going on an epic quest

Its the most basic god damned concept, why has no one done it?

Dark souls

dark souls using the knight set and nothing else.

you can do that in any TES game.

There are dozens of games like this user.

Kingdom Come, kinda-sorta-almost. And then it abruptly ends.

You serious, son?

>no games where you press buttons to make things happen
wtf how has no one does this yet?

I thought that was the whole purpose of Kingdom Come

Should have specified.

Good games. Not games whose shit gameplay is excused for being "based".

Not shit gameplay. You literally transform a village amateur peasant into a GOD OF WAR over the course of the game through combat practice. There's also learning how to read and talk as well, which was expected of knights.

You either didn't play the game at all, or dropped it after an hour.

>no games where you're simple guard

Literally any RPG or ARPG. The fuck are you talking about?

I'm working on that actually, indie dev, UE4

AMA

what is a epic quest to you

dark souls 1 2 3

...Dark souls? Demon's Souls? Morrowind? Oblivion? Skyrim? Have you been in a fucking coma since 1995?

Dark Souls, Kingdom Come Deliverance to some extent. The latter is actually pretty decent now that they patched out the horrendous bugs.

What kind of dicks do u liek?

how shitty is your game?

Mount&Blade

Skyrim might be more up your valley, babby.

You aren’t technically a knight in that game if I remember correctly you’re a squire for Ser Radzig

What was even the fucking purpose for starting off as a peasant metal banger? Why not just start as a 14 something full of piss little gobshite of a noble and start from there?

Because then you'd be a noble and not some fucking serf who is sent on errands everywhere. You'd basically just be Sir Hans.

Okay?

Literally my moms roguelikes

Kingdoms of Amalur, kinda sorta.

I didn’t really like it desu, even if you’re a full plate wearing demigod of war everyone still treats you like the peasant you are. You never actually become a knight, just a glorified errand boy

This is every Zelda game, debate me. PS you can't

but you're the (un)chosen one in KoA:R

Oblivion's main quest and the Knights of the Nine add-on both fit pretty well with a Paladin-type character

Zelda games are shitty adventure games for kids

>No games where you're simply a cute female knight going on an epic quiet

It's the most basic god damned concept, why has no one done it?

Nothing cute about those boots

I would agree for most zeldas, except for BotW, they are all pretty childish and obviously aimed at kids.

Mount and Blade Warband. I'm currently a Knight with a quest to usurp the throne and conquer the whole continent

Well there is a character who's a full of piss little gobshite of a noble and I think you start off as a peasant to make your hero's journey a little more heroic and also allow you to do things a noble wouldn't be caught dead doing
and eventually you do find out that you're the bastard son of Ser Radzig anyway

During my playthrough most peasants and guards at least recognised that I was a man in shining plate and addressed me as a knight
I think it's only main story characters who'd know you're a peasant boy that are unaffected by this
and again you do get recognised as a noble's bastard/squire in the end so you do get some form of status

Post screens and shit you dumb fucking jew

>No games where you as a Knight get a cute squire to "play" with while on an epic quest
