Looks like playing PC game on TV is getting more easier.

Or just hook up the TV to your PC
it was never hard
My house isn't for ants.
>input lag
gag, or i can just hook up the pc to the tv
>game streaming
I highly doubt it will matter, they always end up having a delay so it's not worth it for games that require good reaction timing.
It'd be fine for games like civilization, tabletop sim, 100% OJ, divinity, and other games like that though.
Steam regularly sells the Steam Link for like, $10. And it works the same way this probably will. This will most likely have just as bad delay so why would you not just use a Steam Link for literally $10?
Its almost like you can change the resolution or text size on a pc, who would've thought?
Ever hear of one of these?
fpbp
Steam link only works for shovelware/pixelshit, can't transport enough data for anything more graphically intensive.
I think he meant that the PC is in a different room than his TV
>more easier
Based illiterate ESL poster
It literally works with other games. I own one myself. I have played games in my living room using it, games that aren't shovelware or pixelshit.
You're retarded.
What is this just hook it up to the TV meme? Do you just get like a 30 foot HDMI cable or what?
I'm not picking up my 50lb rig (I have a spinal deformity + rods fused in) everytime I want to play from the couch.
I havent tried this yet but I might.

Can you stream retroarch with it?
Come on dude. He clearly said his house ISN'T for ants, i.e. it's a big house. If the problem were the distance from his couch to his TV, then he'd have the same problem playing any regular XBone game. So clearly it must be in reference to how far away the PC is from his TV
>more easier
>set up wifi network
>tweak bandwidth because wifi is garbage
>stutters, skips, input lag
VS
>run HDMI cable to TV
INTERESTING
Why not just keep your gaming rig plugged into the TV by the couch?
Even if you don't have a separate general PC, it's healthier to move around on a couch rather than stay in the fixed sitting position of a desk chair. Humans evolved to run, walk, and roll around on their stomach/back. They didn't evolve to sit on things but to lie, couch is more comfy than chair.
If your PC weighs 50 pounds I must know what is in it. Do you have meme cooling?
This. There's a tv on top of my setup which is connected whenever i wanna lay on my bed and just play games while laying down.
HDMI cables are cheap as fuck, and they come in any length, just have it hooked up as another monitor, and switch to it when you want to use it.
Isn't that the xbox app for the pc though? It's a piece of shit.
You're better off with steams slightly less shitty (but still awful) big picture mode
>have a great device called KB+M
>let's cater to the most limited option
I thought Consoles fusing with PC would mean more people would start using a keyboard and that games would finally go back to using it, how could I be so wrong.
>more easier.
Ugh, it hurts.
I tried shadow of war with it but it wasn't playable.
it can't get any easier than it always was
>Microsoft suffers with the Xbone
>Instead they choose to support everybody else
>Steamlink
it's discontinued and being sold out because TVs now offer the same functionality natively
if you got to be a nigger hellbent on bad experience and stream content in-house, you sure as fuck don't need microsoft to "let you" do that
>discontinued and being sold out
Oh that sucks, damn.
