the ending was shit
What was the fucking point of this
Visuals and music were nice. I enjoyed it at the time but the ending definitely pissed me off. Glorified walking simulator anyway.
>the game was shit
Ftfy
blame pewdiepie
Cunt i would rather go blind then play that shit again
Why did they switch radios when they thought someone was listening in? That wouldn’t prevent anything
Also, I’m sure she can see that fenced off section from her lookout
>mfw I went over the 2 hour limit but STILL got a refund from steam because the faggot devs lied about game length by a lot
>mfw I played their shitty game and didnt give them any of my money
Feels good
I guess I'm one of the few who actually liked how down to earth it really was. What I really despise however is the FoV and how horrible the game starts to act if you change it. The game makes me sick. Also the forest is made like corridors unlike the real deal, the hell.
There wasn't one.
Like, literally they just couldn't be bothered to come up with a good story.
Really good voice acting and banter, shit everything else.
The "reveal" was pure garbage.
Just another hipster garbage walking sim. People actually pay money for these things...
I enjoyed it.
More or less the same as limbo/inside.
But the ending was shit.
>that don't thread on me doormat
I still don't get why of all Devs they could have brought Valve purchased campo Santo.
ending is a pleb filter.
because valve is retarded, as seen by the past 5 years
I was a bit disappointed when the credits rolled but appreciated it afterwards. A guilt stricken hermit was a more fitting reveal than any kind of conspiracy for a game like Firewatch, and the isolation was a good setting for the characters' imagination to run.
Delilah disappearing from Henry's life just like that was the more disappointing part.
How dare you not defend a literal walking simulator whose climax came to an end by reading a scrap of fucking paper? Fuck you you shitty white male. Fucking incel.
>opening storybook with choices
>literally one line of dialogue changes
>set up events like some x-files mystery
>lol its fucking nothing
I expected nothing from a walking sim and was still disappointed.
Subverting your expectations. For cucks that means is a total masterpiece.
Especially after having radio sex with him and drawing him naked
It's funny how quick people are to bash a game from a simple story design choice. I agree the ending was a letdown, but everything else was great. It immersed me from start to finish and I give it credit for that.
>mfw I played their shitty game and didnt give them any of my money
user you can do this all the time if you have any sense
>entire spookiness was just some guy living at the park and fucking with them
>makes it seem like he's going to torment them and frame them for arson
>decides not to and kills himself
>you just go home at the end
What a fucking waste of time.
Reminder that they expected players to drag world objects back to their tower one by one.
I loved it. Truly elevated gaming as a medium for storytelling. Ending was a let down but was obviously the right choice over wrapping everything up neatly
>Truly elevated gaming as a medium for storytelling
Do you really think that or are you just repeating what you've heard other people have said? I can't see how anybody would ever come to this conclusion on their own.
It was good cause there was not a huge alien/gov/supernatural whatever plot twist.
They probably ran out of money and quickly wrote off the ending.
I pirated it and was annoyed afterwards that I spent time playing it rather than a better game.
You're right. That wasn't there.
In fact, nothing was there.
it gave me my profile picture, so it's good enough in my book
absolutely agree
Who gives a shit about the story I only played for the great visuals and music.
As someone who has nowhere to hike playing this game relaxed me and it felt good just walking around.
I hate this word but its maximum "comfy"
Plebs acting like boring/disappointing things are "highbrow" are hilarious to watch
